It has to be Lurtz- the hero of FotR. It was so sad when he died! I love his "Find the Halflings!"

That's funny, but I don't know if that was a wise thing to say. There are some very fanatic Boromir fans over here...

I had to say the Almighty Gandalf. He stopped a balrog, defeated it, and returned to Aragorn Legolas and Gimli. He left them and returned with Eomer and the rest of the Riddermark at the time of need at Helm's deep and turned the battle. It's gotta be the tall, white man all the way.

That's funny, but I don't know if that was a wise thing to say. There are some very fanatic Boromir fans over here... Liking Lurtz doesn't have much to do with good ole' Boromir- the traditional 'bad-guy-harms-hero' is in all movies, and it's completely acceptable to admire a bad character. It's something like loving Agent Smith from The Matrix or the Ringwraiths in LOTR. Sure, they have ill designs on our heros, but being a LOTR fan should be all-embracing, for instance the fact that Sauron killed thousands of elves shouldn't deter anyone from liking him. It's nothing against the elves, just like liking lurtz doesn't mean I have anything against Boromir. I like Boromir very much, but sometimes you get a soft spot for the baddies. Orcs and Uruk-hai were never their own masters, they were always 'owned' by either Sauron or Saruman, and all their deeds were performed under orders, unless it's killing each other of course.
