*Massive spoilers* I was wondering what you all thought of the coronation scene in RotK. I thought is was beautiful!! I absolutely loved the way Legolas came, and Arwen was with him behind her standard!! And he took her and kissed her... ah, it was so sweet!!  Then again, I am a hopeless romantic, which is probably why I loved that scene so much! And the part where Aragorn told the hobbits, 'You bow to noone,' then he knelt down in front of them, and everyone else did so as well! Oh, that was so wonderful! It says a lot about his character, as well. He was the King of Gondor, and he voluntarily knelt down before four hobbits of the Shire... that part made me cry too, and everyone in the audience started clapping at that part!! Oh, I loved that scene! |

I loved it too! Really beautiful, how Arwen was behind the banner thing, and Aragorn was so surprised. And Elrond was happy too!  |

I loved that scene too. When Arwen showed up... So romantic. And what a huge moment when everyone bowed to the Hobbits. It was so touching. And everyone who didn't die was there. It was so great! |

I cried when they all bowed, the look on Pippin's face!! That was one of my favourite bits! But the only thing is, I thought Aragorn and Arwen were going to be married I've seen a pic of it here....Maybe it'll be in the EE.

Yeah, I thought they were too...  my brother thought that counted as a wedding, but I don't think so. I hope it'll be onthe EE too!!! |

It didn't bother me that it was not a real wedding. When you see how much they love eachother, ou know that they are getting married anyway. That wasn't clear with Faramir and Eowyn. They just stood next to each other, and people who haven't read the books won't know what's going on there.

I wish they put in the houses of healing!!!! Then you could see what was really going on with Eowyn and Faramir!! But I suppose that's what the EE is for.

I think it would have been better if they had just shown a tiny shot of Faramir and Eowyn smiling and then you can see they are holding hands! That would have been sweet But that scene was still one of my favourites. |

That would have been very sweet, but I think that it would confuse the people who haven't read the book even more. As far as they know Faramir and Eowyn haven't even met each other.

My sister-in-law who has never read the books saw the movie and she saw eowyn and faramir standing there next to eachother and she realized that there was something between them. But I still think it should've had the houses of healing. But I guess I will just have to wait for the EE.  |

I'm not a romantic at all, heart of pure granite, but that scene was incredible! I'm so glad I have finally seen it. The look in Aragorn's eyes was perfect.
I'm glad that the wedding they showed was Sam's. It was nice to see him happy after all he had been through. I would have liked to see Aragorn's too, but his coronation was more important. I'm glad they showed Elrond smiling. ometimes they made it look like he didn't like Aragorn when really he loved him like a son.

I loved Sam's wedding!! And also the coronation, of course! I think Aragorn and Arwen were just perfect!!
