'It's nice to meet you, too!' Eleniel replied, sitting down. 'It can be hard at times to be the only elf in a place. People tend to be a little wary of us. Where are you from? I live in Imladris, but I'm on my way to Gondor right now.'
((oops! Sorry... I put that I was Rainwen... that's what happens when I'm in too many RPs at once, and forget who I am!! I'm supposed to be Eleniel... sorry for the confusion! I confused myself even!))

"Then we are here on common purpose, friend" ((ooc - lol soz, just had to say that!)) Athelas said laughing. "I too am heading to Gondor! Minas Tirith to be exact. Although it surprises me we have never met before, as I'm from Imladris too!"

Eowa bustled over, topping up Rainwen and Athelas's glasses. "Forgive me, I couldn't help but overhear. Minas Tirith! I suppose you'll see the king? They say his queen is an elf. I didn't quite believe it, so many of the tales told out here seem more like fairy tales than truth. But if elves travel to the white city! Well, anything is possible these days, isn't it?"

Athelas smiled. "I suppose it is" she said, "And what you have heard is true: The Queen Arwen is an Elf. Her tale is bittersweet. I'm going there to bring a gift from Lord Celeborn to the King" she patted the side of her bag. "And then after that who knows, I might stay there for a while. But" she paused, "I seem to be kind of.. lost. And in need of shelter. Does this Inn offer rooms?"

"For a small fee, although seeing as you appear to be on important business, I might be able to offer it to you for free. That is, in return for news. Tell me more of the Lady Arwen and the king, for it is not often that guests here have any such knowledge"

Morowyn walked along the road to the pub, stopping outside to look at the sign, which read "The Horseless Rider". "Thoroncal, wait outside," she whispered to her golden eagle sitting on her shoulder. The eagle took flight, going up to land on the roof.
Morowyn now walked into the pub, walking up to the counter. "Do you have miruvor wine?"

Eowa looked at the new arrival. "Mirvoir? That is a strange name for a brew! It sounds almost elvish..."She shook herself out of her daze. "We do not stock it, but if you tell me what it is made from then surely I can make you some!" She smiled. She liked a challenge.

"It will be something elvish, you can be sure." said Beotbrand, "I would not drink their potions. They dwell in strange places and do strange things. Though they may mean well, who knows what may seem well to them? They are uncanny folk. We should be wary. A forest marched on Helm's Deep when an elf was there."

Morowyn raised her eyebrows. "That forest of trees was ents, tree-shepherds. They marched on Isengard, they didn't harm no elves. The potions of the elves do more good than bad anyways. The elves have strange ingredients, I do not know their recipes. I'll have a pint of your best ale."

Eleniel smiled at Eowa. 'Athelas is right inwhat she tells you. The queen is indeed an elf. I should know... She's my father's sister. Athelas is also right in that her story is bittersweet. It is a very sad, yet beautiful story, and I admire her a lot. Would you have a room for me as well, if I were to tell you a bit about her too?' Eleniel inquired.

"There is room for everyone here!" Eowa said loudly glancing around the room as if daring anyone there not to stay the night. "Anyone is welcome. And even though business will be busy tonight because of the storm, we have more than enough rooms for everyone! Anyone who wishes can stay here!" Her manner was pushy but it had gotten her many customers.

"I'll take a room for one and an eagle. Don't worry, Thoroncal's been taught not to damage rooms."

Beotbrand laughed. "A tame eagle? That's impressive! I should have a room too. I care not what kind, if it is warm and dry." He glanced warily at the elves. "But give them rooms first. I would not inconvenience them."

Eleniel saw the look Beotbrand gave them, and had heard what he had been saying. Hoping to ease the tension a bit, she said, 'I do not care what kind of room I have. As long as it's warm and dry. I'll take whatever is left after everyone else gets their rooms.'

Beotbrand smiled at her, realising how stupid he was being. "Lady, I am a better rider than thinker and my tongue often makes trouble before my mind can stop it. I do not understand your people, but I respect them. If I seem unfriendly, my anger is towards my brother, not towards any here." He paused. He thought. Slowly and carefully he formed the words "Goheno nin, forgive me." he added, in case the words were wrong.
