The rangers eyes flicked open as he leaped out of his chair his his glaive flew into his hand by itself and he came round in a fighting stance
then he stopped looked a little sheepish and said "sorry ladies and gentlemen didn't mean to scare anyone"he put down the glaive "I forgot where I was"

"Wine tends to make people even more sleepy, my friend. Clearly elves do not get drunk the same way we moratls do." She winked at the old ranger then bustled off again to serve another table.
