Bunny looked at Sapphire.
"Well... I think I can walk now... would you go with us?" Galadeth asked Sapphire.
"I was wondering... if we're going to make a stop somewhere..." Lothar asked.

Sapphire, Bunny, and Lothar went to the quarter. There, they drank a cup of Athelas tea.
"Well... I think I feel better now..." Bunny said.

'I am relieved to hear that, my friend,' Sapphire answered. 'I was worried about you for a while!'

The sun was now nearing the western horizon. To the east the sky was a deep indigo with dark violet clouds tossed about like ships on an ocean. To the west the sun was half way visible as it was dipping into the sea. The golden red light was trying to stay in the sky, mirroring the inhabitants of the free West making a stand against Mordor, though the pirates knew little of it. The coral colored light shimmered through the waves and spray, bathing everything in its pearly radiance. Lothar sat on deck, organizing and tying ropes. Bunny and Sapphire were seated a few feet away, mending sails. The ship moved on in silence; the beauty and mystery of the sunset had seemed to cast a spell on them all. Every once in a while Lothar looked up from his ropes to look at Bunny and smile. He could scarecly remember a happier time. After 5 years of being on and off ships (usually ending off from mutinies) and down on his luck, he had finally found a ship where he was accepted and on his way to something fortunate. Besides that there was Bunny. Lothar had been around women rarely. Ever since he had had his heart broken by an unfaithful fiancee 8 years ago, he had decided never to love again. But with Bunny it was different. He had never met anyone quite like her before... With thoughts of Bunny and the quest swirling in his head, he turned and spoke to the two elf maidens. "I have been thinking more about the treasure. When will we get to the island? You have part of the map, do you not, Sapphire?" Without waiting for the answer, he continued speaking. "What are you both intending on doing with your share? I, for one, am in desperate need of such a share." But the first thing I shall do with it is to find a pearl necklace worthy of Bunny's graceful neck and a diamond and sapphire ring to match her fair eyes. thought Lothar to himself as he started imagining his possible future with Bunny. ------------- ooc-sorry I haven't been posting! I did a long one (kind of) to make up for it.

Shenlieth watched Lothar with suspicion. He seemed to be eyeing Bunny on and off. It didn't matter to her, anyway, and quickly discarded the thought. Instead, she carefully walked over to Saphire and Bunny, and asked them if she could help in any way. Soon, she was happily mending the sails with them, with the cool sea breeze blowing her hair. ((OOC: I loved that too, Bran! You are very good with descriptions. ))

Shenlieth listened to Bunny sing, and felt a great calm come over her. The words were beautiful, as were the stars.
((OOC I loved that, Gala!))

(warning: this will be a rather long post) Later in the day, Sapphire went to her room. Her hair was falling in her face, and she wanted to fix it so it would be out of the way. She started brushing her hair, then Bunny walked in. 'Let me help you, my friend,' Bunny said, walking over to Sapphire. Sapphire handed Bunny the brush and ribbon, and Bunny started brushing Sapphire's golden hair. After brushing it thoroughly, she tied Sappire's hair back with the blue ribbon. Sapphire turned and smiled at Bunny. 'Thank you. It is wonderful having another elf on board. I'm really glad you're here.' Bunny smiled as she answered, 'You're the first real friend I've had in a long time. I'm glad I know you too.' She embraced Sapphire before walking out of the room. A few moments later, Sapphire walked out on the deck to see if they needed help with anything. As she walked around looking for the captain, she reached up to play with the necklace her brother had given her. It was a habit she had developed, and rarely noticed she was doing it. She reached for the necklace, and it wasn't there. She grew anxious, and ran back to her room. She looked around everywhere, but couldn't find it. She ran to the captain and told him, and asked if he had seen it. He didn't know where it was, so she asked the others. They all said they had not seen it anywhere. She tried to hide how upset she was, but it had saddened her greatly. It was the last link she had to her family. She tried to help out around the ship, but wasn't much help as she was so distressed. That night when her and Bunny were in their room, Sapphire was getting ready to go to bed. She was thinking of the last time she remembered seeing the necklace. She had been wearing it earlier when she started to brush her hair, right before Bunny came in. Bunny had acted a little strangely that night, talking to Sapphire a lot less than usual. Sapphire grew suspicious, wondering if Bunny had taken it while brushing Sapphire's hair. But she quickly dismissed the thought, upset with herself for doubting her friend. This was the friend she had gone to Sam about, so she could get an equal share in the treasure. The friend she had been talking to and helping. The friend who had given her another lovely necklace. She quickly climbed into bed, telling herself how horrible it was that she would suspect her friend like that. The next morning, she arose before Bunny, and climbed out of bed. As Sapphire was pulling her hair back, Bunny shifted in her sleep and something fell from beside her and onto the floor. Sapphire immediately recognised it as being her necklace. Unsure of what to do, she took the matter to Sam. They later confronted Bunny about it, but Bunny denied knowing anything about the necklace. The watched Bunny carefully for a few days, and they caught her lying several times. Sapphire also found several other items stolen from members of the crew in various places around the room. After Bunny was found out, she was locked in the brig until they could further decide what to do. #noedit

((OOC: I like it! Yeah! We are sailing again)) Sam pocketed the keys to the brig and stepped lightly up the stairs. He was to deep in thought to hear what Bunny said to him as he pulled himself out of the stair well. He was still rather supprised, not just that Bunny was a lier and a thief, but also that she could lie and steal from her friends. At least he thought they were her friends. Sapphire especaly! His fist tighted at his side when he thought of anyone stealing from Sapphire. He stepped up to the wheel, reliveing who ever was standing at his post. Still lost in thought he didn't hear the step behind him. ((OOC: someone come and talk to me! ))
