Sapphire glanced over at Bunny and Lothar, and just knew it wouldn'tbe right to only give them such a small portion of the profit. She would have to have a little talk with Sam and Lucky Silver.

"Ahem!" Sam cleared his throat, there seamed to be some unrest at the table. "I will now tell you the propose in this venture, Savvy?" He waited for a moment and then continued. "We are looking at a treasure map here." he motioned at the pieces in his hand. "We will give each of you ten present of what ever we may find!"
Sapphire cleared her throat, "My I speak to you a moment Sam?"
"Sure, hold that thought people," Sam said and stepped to the side with Sapphire."Yes?"

'Sam,' Sapphire said. 'I think that if Bunny and Lothar are going to go with us, and do an equal amount of work, they should get an equal share in the treasure as well. It wouldn't be right to give them such a smaller portion than the rest of us. We should split it evenly.'

Bunny stared at Sam. "Is that true, Sam? You were to give Lothar and me a minor part of the treasure?" Bunny was surprised and a bit dissapointed. "I thought you were different, Sam..." Sam said annoyed that he was being ganged up on. "Sapphire... if this is really what you want... I suppose you are right, it is only fair..." He said softer.
"I have desided that Sapphire is right... so you can stop giving me those dissaponted looks Bunny." Sam sighed.

Sapphire smiled. 'Thank you, Sam. Thank you for listening to me, and changing your mind.' She turned to Bunny. 'Please don't think less of Sam. Part of the map is his, after all. But he has agreed to share it evenly now, which is only fair.'
Bunny smiled at Sapphire. 'Thank you. And thank you, Sam, for changing your mind.'

Lothar had nothing to say. He was a little angry that Sam had intened to not give him and Bunny equal shares. But what did it matter. He turned to Sapphire and thanked her. Lothar was holding Bunny's hand under the table and gently stroking it. As it seemed Sam had nothing else to say, he and Bunny rose to leave.

'I... uh... I don't know. Sam didn't tell me exactly what he expected us to do. I'll let you and Lothar talk now, and I'll go find our room.' Sapphire quickly left, and went to find the room she and Bunny would be staying in.

Shenlieth listened carefully. Oh no! The sound of footsteps grew nearer and nearer. "Please let them not come in here!", she thought anxiously. The door opened..........and in walked a lovley half-elf! Shenlieth had expected a gruff looking man. "Maybe it won't be so bad if she sees me after all."
