From now on, Meduseld will have a warning system. We doubt we will need to use it, but please be aware of it when you post. These are the site rules:
1. No flaming, i.e. TYPING EVERYTHING IN ALL CAPS
2. Don't have a go at someone if you don't agree with them ~ there are better ways to say that.
3. No unsuitable content. You know what I'm talking about.
4. No spamming (making lots of short posts to up your post count).
5. Racism will not be tolerated and you will be banned outright for this.
6. No rudeness to anyone.
Any breaches of rules, obvious rudeness etc. every time is a warning.
On the 1st warning you will receive a PM warning from appropriate mod.
On the 2nd, you will receive a PM warning from me.
On the 3rd warning, you will be out of Meduseld and banned in IP, email and username.
Mods and admins have the right to implement a week-long ban if:
- The situation is too serious for a PM warning but not serious enough for a full-on ban
- The third offence is extremely minor and they believe they should have a chance to redeem themselves
Please follow the rules and hopefully bans and warnings will not be necessary.
