Sam's speech was awesome! It definitely made up for the hobbits being in Osgiliath. One of the top moments in the film for me too.

My favorite moments include
the "it comes in pints moment"
Eowyns sword drill (ok I admit it I like Her)
and also the Cave troll rodeo scene

I love the way they did Boromir's death scene. It is so so soooooo sad, but so beautiful and makes me cry every time i watch it. (I love Boromir, he's my favorite character  ;D) Sam's speech was also so amazing. That made me cry. The council scene was awesome too. |

All of my favorites have already been said, but I'll put in my vote anyway, I love when Gandalf battles the Balrog, and when Boromir is killed. They just get me every time.  But I think that my absoloute favorite is when TreeBeard sees all the trees that were cut down, and then all the other trees come, and just when they are all walking towards Eisengard, and when they are actually battling at Eisengard, it just takes my breath away. It also always just pulls me in when Frodo is looking into the mirror of Galadriel, but right after that, when she looks all evil and stuff, and her voice changes, I just get mad because that part got all messed up, in my opinion. |

I forgot one! Toward the beginning of FOTR, Bilbo and Gandalf are sitting and smoking pipes, and Bilbo makes a ring with the smoke, and then Gandalf makes a ship that goes through it. It's just so nice and peaceful, there isn't anything to worry about just yet, an everyone seems happy. It's just great.
Are there more smilies or did I just not notice any of the ones past the green crying one before?

In FOTR: ~ the extended version's 'Concerning Hobbits' part. I love that! All of that sequence just makes me smile ~ Merry and Pippin and the fireworks! Billy Boyd's scream has me in stitches every time! Its so cute! lol ~ All Merry and Pippin comedic relief. Luv these guys! 2nd breakfast is a classic! ~ Strider's entrance to the film. V mysterious! ~ Arwen's entrance to the film. Liking Glorfie so much you think I'd hate this part, but I don't. Its a very cool entrance to a film ~ Rivendell! Gorgeous! ~ Council scene. Just brilliant! So much detail in so little time! Love it! ~ "This is no mine, its a tomb" and "They have a cave troll" *faints* ~ Everything else Boromir does in this movie ~ The Frodo and Sam boat moment So sweet! From TTT: ~ Haldir's death scene. I hated this originally, but then it passed. Haldir's too cute to die ~ Faramir. Also hated the change originally, but then it also passed. Now love Faramir lol ~ The Rohan music ~ Cooking with Sam and Gollum. Comedy straight from the book! more or less... ~ Sam's speech. Awwwwwwww. I love this part ~ Frodo smiling at the end. After how miserable he is throughout most of this film this is really sweet and just makes me happy |

It's practically impossible to choose and i would not remove any of the scenes aleady listed for they too are favourite scenes of mine.

My favourite moment? Sam's speech! Even Gollum was touched by it, so who isn't? It also brought Faramir to his senses afterall (I like Faramir!).
Other great moments:
