Welcome to Languages, the forum for discussing Tolkien's languages. This is where all discussion of languages should go, so go right ahead and start a topic! We have several resident elvish-speakers, so ask away, and we will do our best to help when it comes to other M-E languages! One word of warning: please include translations of the language, and never post messages totally in the language as this is violation of the Proboards TOS and could get us deleted On a lighter note, your mods are Elessar, Lothiêl and Brannwen, so contact them if you've got any questions. Hope you enjoy the forum!

Suilad all, I'm one of the new Languages Mods. My name is Lothiêl Tinnueth (Loey is fine ), and I know both Quenya and Sindarin (Sindarin is the stronger of the two). I run my own Elvish Lang (and other hobbies of mine) website: Elei Edhellin. I've been working on Elvish as a whole (seriously) since June of 2003. I enjoy translating poetry and thinking up new ways to say things in conversations. I'm willing to help students with of either one of these languages, so feel free to ask questions and I'll help you the best I can!
