OK, I know that one of the main topics of the board will be elvish, and therefore it might be nice if we could have some volunteers who can speak elvish and could offer their services to help members learn. This would mean that members would know you're willing to help, and volunteering means you're willing to let members PM you for help. It's only a volunteer position, but should pay off

Hello! If you want any more help with Sindarin, I'd be happy to help. I'm certainly no expert, but I'm not too bad.

Ah hah, you mean Sindarin. Don't feel bad; many people aren't even aware there is more than one type of Elvish. So you wanted to know how to say Hello, Goodbye, and I love you in Elvish? Hello = Suilad Goodbye = Navaer I love you = Le melon Hope that helps!

I don't know much about books, but there are some really good online lessons. This site: www.councilofelrond.com/ has a lot of really good resources and has online lessons. Look on the left side of the page and click where it says languages. I hope this helps a bit!
