I was feeling bored tonight, so I did these.
The first line of Pride and Prejudice: Istanner pain, dîr i gâr vîr aníra dhineth. Literally: All know, a man that has jewels desires a bride.
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. (Ralph Waldo Emerson)
Avo aphado ias i râd bâd, dân bado ias ú-genich râd a caro rein.
Literally: Do not follow where the path goes, but go where you do not see a path and make a trail.
Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant! (Robert Louis Stevenson)
Avo garo baudh erin arad vi i naid i crithach, dân vi in eridh i redhich.
Literally: Do not make judgement on the day in the things that you reap, but in the seeds that you sow.
