Woohoo!! Howard Shore just won the Golden Globe award for BEST ORIGINAL SCORE, and then they also won a Golden Globe award for BEST ORIGINAL SONG: "Into the West" by Annie Lennox!!

They deserved it several times over!

I'm so happy; nothing better than seeing the ones who deserve the awards the most get them.

I tell you, from a musician's standpoint, Howard Shore really out-did himself. I've NEVER heard music that good before, which melds so many regional music types so flawlessly and with such style, while keeping the integrity and prolific beauty of the original work by Tolkien!
