Have you noticed that the Led Zeppelin song Ramble On has a crazy LOTR themed verse?
And the song Battle of Evermore
I've been told there are lots of other LotR-related Zeppelin lyrics but I don't know any other ones.

Whoa! That's freaky in a cool way! There's this group the Brobdningian (sp?) Bards who do some really cool original songs with a LOTR theme... Definitely NOT rock'n'roll though... lol

Brobdingnagians? Sounds like they used the name from Gulliver's Travels. Great book.

That's the word! I hear them every so often on LiveIreland and Celtic Grove Radio (winamp 3). Pretty good stuff, and they're pretty talented for writing music!

Mostly Celtic, but also Classical, 80's Classic Rock, and quite a bit of modern Rock/Pop by groups like 3 Doors Down and Nickelback.
I've even been known to listen to bluegrass stuff once in a while.

Wow, Led Zeppelin doesn't sound like a lotr person....that's really weird!
There's this bluegrass group called "Nickel Creek" and they have a song on their CD called "In the House of Tom Bombadil". It's a reallly cool song.
