Hello everyone! I am going to have the pleasure to play on a Norwegian violin(the Hardanger), the kind they used for the Rohan theme music in TTT and RotK. And I would really like to be able play the Rohan theme, so if any of you know where to dowload the sheet music for that for strings, I would greatly appreciate it. I have looked, but not very hard, as I thought it would be wise to ask you guys first. Thank you so much!

Can you read bass clef? If so, I can email a scan to you.

I learned to play that by ear over Xmas; here's how It goes: A A A (on the lowest string) D C D E A---------- A A A D C D E A (the actual A string) B(this is a grace note) A----------- From there, it basically continues on, but there are some variations on the tune. Nice thing is, it basically utilizes the same notes. Lucky girl--Hardangers are the Strads of the Fiddle world!

Thank you Loey!!! I was going to A) buy the TTT music book thingy or B) figure it out, which I have done for the main LotR theme. But thank you again! Now I can play it, and think of the Golden Hall. The only reason I'm getting play it is because my violin teacher's husband makes violins, and he made a Hardanger. So I saw it once, and my mom mentioned to him that I liked it, and so he said that my teacher could bring it to my next lesson! I'm so excited!

Lol! I've been practicing the theme (thank you Lothiêl!!!) tonight, so I won't mess it up later. The Rohan theme might be my favorite, besides the regular theme. It's just so cool to play it, but it will be even cooler later!! Lol! Bran, would she really be jealous?

Lol! Bran, would she really be jealous? Lol, no. I just said that because whenever I think of one of you playing the violin I think of the other.

Ah, ok. Oh, this is cool! Tell her that the guy who made that Hardanger also made a regular violin (well, he makes tons of violins, but that's beside the point) that as a horse head where the scroll normally is! It looks soooooooo cool! I really want one, because the violin I use now isn't mine, and I need a new one. My mom said 'save your money'... Hehe, you bet I will!!!

I got to play it today!!! It was so cool!! It souds exactly like it does in the soundtrack!! I recorded it, so I could listen to...my mistakes!!! I was so nervous, I made about 4 mistakes. But, that's pretty good for me... I'm trying to figure out how to change the file to a .wav, so I can do some...err, doctoring up, and perhaps post my flubbering.

oh, if you figure out how to change the file into a .wav, lemme know will you? I have an mp3 clip on my computer that I want to set as a sound event and I can't do it unless it's a .wav file (and I can't figure out how to convert it either... )
