Hey, I'm not sure if we can post about things that aren't about LOTR, but I'll try it.

What kinds of music do you guys like?
What are your favorite bands?

(I'll post mine if this goes through)

I like practically all kinds of music (with a few exceptions), but I particularly prefer Celtic/New Age, Classical, and Rock and Roll. Some of my fav artists are: Enya, Loreena McKennitt, The Chieftains, Matchbox 20, Journey, The Beatles, and Train.

I also like 3 Doors Down, the Gin Blossoms, and Nickelback.

hm, I guess nobody has heard about group "Brainstorm"? I wouldn't say they are something speciall, but, after all, my people latvian+weirdies...

I like Celtic and New age preetty much too, my fav singer is Enya. I also like rock, specially Brazilian, like CPM22, Detonautas, Raimundos. I like Dashboard Confessional too. And MPB, which stands for Brazilian Popular Music, it's just great! And, of course, I LOVE forró!! I think some of you have already heard me talking of it I like most everything except for axé, funk and heavy metal.

I like almost every style, exept for punk (because my brother listens to punk 24 hours a day) and hiphop. At the moment, I listen mostly to soundtracks (LOTR!), rock, and sometimes pop. But there's another topic about music (I thought), and I already posted my favourite bands in there.

Well I listen to almost everything. Well I'm not too keen on rap. And I detest bulgarian rap. It's simply horrible thing. Lately I'm listening quite a lot bulgarian rock from the 70-80s.

I listen to a lot of bands, believe me.
Skillet(of course, they are my favorite band in the world), The Benjamin Gate, Superchic[k](awesome in concert), Dashboard Confessionals, Pillar, POD, Kids in the Way(also awesome in concert), Switchfoot, Blindside, East West, Kittie, Staple, The Halo Friendlies, Lucerin Blue, MxPx, SideWalkSlam, Bleach, Rain like Scarlet, Evenescence, Me Without You, Dead Poetic, Clearly Blind, Newsboys, Zao, The OC Supetones, Emery, Further Seems Forever, StarFlyer 59, Spoken, Kutless, Brave Saint Saturn, Ace Trouble Shooter.

That's pretty much it, most of those you've probably never heard of, and most of them are on Tooth&Nail records(http://www.toothandnail.com)
Most of them are hardcore, and you cannot understand what they say the first time, but after awhile, you get it.

Wow!! You and I like a LOT of the same music! Except that I'm that much of a Beatles fan. They're okay, but not one of my favorites. I also like some of Evanescense; especially My Immortal. (See the sig?)

Evanescense (sp?) is cool, but a bit too.... *searches for a word* I dunno, they're a bit intense for me.

I like most kinds of music, but nothing too loud or angry. I love classical music, although my current task is to increase my knowledge of it, because apparently I don't know as much as I should. But some of my favourite composers are Bach, Brahms, Grieg and Debussy - I love playing their piano music
I love celtic/ folk music and some rock music - some of my favourite singers are Sarah McLachlan, Cara Dillon and Jewel. I also like Evanescence, although they are rather loud compared to most of my tastes.
And harp music and the LOTR soundtracks

Hehe, nice.
LOTS of my music is loud, my siblings complain all the time that it's too loud, and my brother's friends are afraid of it.
I kind of think that is funny, but they're used to stuff like Britney Spears, Jump 5, and other people like that.
The lyrics to mine are mostly stuff like "While my body decays, my soul does not. Death is just the beggining..."
and deep emotional lyrics, and they don't get them.
My parents do though, so they're okay with it.
