This doesn't really have anything to do with LotR music, but I didn't know where else to put it, so I'll put it here.
I'm preparing for an audition for the musical "Once On This Island" (don't know if anyone's ever heard of it) and I know a lot of people here are into theatre and music and such and I'm really bad at finding audition songs. Any suggestions? I have a few musts and must-nots for the song though, and everything else is fine.
MUSTS *It must be atleast about 25 measures long *Must go atleast to an E, but preferably a G, and as low as a C (below the staff) but not too much lower lower! (1 or 2 Soprano range) *Must be in English
MUST NOT *Be from Once on this Island, Annie, The Wizard of Oz, or Fiddler on the Roof (Other musicals that I've done with the same director. Just doesn't seem like a good idea to me) *Must not go any lower than an A (below the staff) *Must not go any higher than an A (above the staff) *Must not be a disney song *Must not be longer than 4 minutes or so.
I think thats it. So, any suggestions?

If you're going to be ambitious, you could try In Dreams. It goes from D to an F# in the octave above, I believe. Alternatively, you might try Use Well the Days. The bad thing about it is it goes down to a G And Sound of Music songs are always good. They have a great range. Edelweiss is quite a good one. Oliver songs are also quite good: especially Where is Love? Which E and G did you mean? The ones near the top of the staff? Hope that helps
