*spoiler warning* Hey, you sound like me, Brannwen!! I cried that much, too. And my friend didn't cry at all! I cried buckets and buckets! And I think I'll cry even more next time! But I cried all through the end, was still crying through the credits... I cried at all the places you mentioned, and more! I cried when Arwen came and met Aragorn after his coronation! That was so beautiful!! And I cried when Aragorn knelt down to the hobbits. And when Arwen was talking to Elrond, and she said, 'This was my choice. Ada, whether by your will or not, there is no ship now that can bear me hence.' Because she will never see him again! And I know there were other places, I just can't remember them all at the moment. Oh, and I cried so much when Pippin left with Gandalf, and had to leave Merry! I cried buckets in that scene!

i really can't cry in the cinema lol. I think its because theres so many people round lol. but when i get it on dvd i definatly will
that and during the sad bits i tend to notice things that end up making it not sad. like when a certain person in rotk dies i noticed that one of his eyebrows was bushier than the other....

I thought I would, but i didn't, I was depressed at times though. My friend hatedthe part when gollum bites off Frodo's finger, I was teasing her on the way out saying stuff like "I noticed that you liked that part when Frodo lost his finger."

I cried throughout the whole movie. Not all the time, but yeah. It was more like, tears sorta falling, not real crying. All the sad parts.

Yeah me too, I wasn't wailing because I didn't want anyone to look at me but there were one heck of a lot of tears on my face!

Hehe, by the end I couldn't help but wail, so I had to try to do it quietly. It was very hard though - I thought I would have to leave the cinema!

It seems so embarrassing to cry when everyone is looking at you. But I saw lots of crying people both times that I saw ROTK, and I didn't think that it's strange. But I don't feel comfortable when I'm crying in the cinema. Though I cried last time.

Aye, the parts with Theoden got to me: the pep talk, the touching of the lances, the charge, the death... [/b]

Yeah, that was sad too... Speaking of crying, I was listening to my new RotK cd, and I came across Into the West(Annie Lennox does a really beautiful job). I had heard it before but I never really concentrated on the lyrics...but when I did, it's so sad!!! I even cried listening to that! I think in some parts it sounds like Arwen talking to Elrond.

I just got back from seeing it again. I thought I would cry more this time, but I seriously didn't think I could cry that much in a movie!! I cried more often, and cried harder. The part at Aragorn's coronation, I already had been crying, but had stopped, and I just had tears in my eyes, until Aragorn sees Arwen. Then, the tears just started rolling down my face! But when the Ring is destroyed, and then when they're talking about the Shire, and Sam is talking about how he would have married Rosie, I was crying so hard then! And at the end... I was crying more than Sam when Frodo left!!!! I was still crying when she finished singing Into the West! I think because the first time I saw it, I was in awe, and was shocked that I was finally seeing it. This time, it was even more emotional for me because the shock was gone.
