I greatly pity Smeagol, and wanted so much for him to become good again My one complaint about RotK is that they made it seem as if he was completely bad, and there wasn't even a chance for him. I wish they had shown the scene from the book wherehe's sitting by Frodo when the hobbits are sleeping, and is remembering about being a hobbit, and is close to repenting. That is my one complaint with the movie. Poor Smeagol!

But in TTT, he is not completely bad. I think that there is more Smeagol than Gollum in TTT. He is very sweet in that movie, when he sings his "Rock and pool" song. But I agree that there is a lack of Good Smeagol moments in the third movie. But he is not my favourite character and I am not complaining.

Philippa Boyens' opinion was that we'd proven Smeagol's good side in TTT. Now he was going to be the murderous psychopath plotting in RoTK It was in one of the papers, Serkis said something about it I think.

Ah, I see. I like the way they showedhim in TTT, and I don't really complain about him in RotK. Just if I had to find one thing I didn't care for a whole lot, it would be that. But it does't really bother me much. The movie was so incredibly good!!! I can't wait to see it again!

Yeah, I wish they'd have shown a better side of him in RotK, but, as Sim said, they already did that in TTT. The part where they showed him crawling into the cave at the begining, when he was changing into Gollum, that really scared me! And when he ate the fish!!!!! So gross!!!!!

Let's see... here are my favorite parts: Frodo and Sam on that outcrop of rock with the lava... "at the end of all things". Eowyn suiting Merry up for battle. Sam carrying Frodo up Mount Doom. Everything on the Pelennor Fields... intense! Frodo finishing up the Red Book and later handing it to Sam. There are just so many amazing sequences!

I think this will be the best trilogy ever made, it will take a lot for someone to make one better. I am still hoping to see a hobbit movie, staring bilbo and thorin

The part where the Tower of Barad-Dur falls and the eye explodes was EXCELLENT.
