Well, I ended up joining the house of Finrod, thinking that all the other houses were inactive. However, now that Elessar has returned, I see that the House of Hador (my first choice) is no longer lacking a leader.  I would kind of like to go over there and help out... is this possible? It might even things out so we have three semi-active houses. Right now we have: Finrod: Elorendil, Quenyi, me (Caranfirith?) Luthien: Mirk, Hatha Hador: Elessar |

Anyone have some feedback?  This might also be a good time to just talk about the House status in general. |

No one has any thoughts on this subject??  Maybe it's just not the right time to think about "reviving" the houses.  That's ok too! I thought it might help attracting new members... if they feel they "belong" to something, they may be more likely to come back! Feedback, anyone? |

Well, we've had one member swithcing houses once, exactly to make one house more active... I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea, as long as you make clear that you don't have any problems with the leader of you present house (it's always good to avoid making anyone feel down), however, I guess I can't give any kind of authorization/prohibition for that. You could PM Sim, I'm sure, she'll know what to do! |

ok, thanks Hatha! lol... I obviously don't have a problem with Elorendil! I just think it would be kind of nice get another house lively again. We could all have more fun that way, planning inter-house activities and stuff. Then again, this may not be the right time for that. I mean, even with two active members in each of the three "active" houses, there is a limit to what we can do. Hopefully there will be some more people coming in soon... and maybe there will come a time when Finrod needs some active members, who knows? I wonder if Quenarth has thought about joining a house? (by the way, Quenarth is my friend who would like to help out with the languages section  |

Having thought about it, I'm happy for you to switch, Dandrë (and everyone else appears to be, too). It would be good to get Hador active again - three active houses would be great. PM me for the password and hope you'll enjoy Hador!

Not officially... just a lack of time over the past year sort of pushed Meduseld and other forums to the back burner.  But hopefully things are starting to get back to normal. Evvie, great to see you again. |
