What is this VCD? Video CD?
My friend's uncle lives in Korea, and the copyright laws of the US don't apply there, so they're selling RotK right now for $2 each. True story. There aren't any special features, and some stuff on the menus are spelled wrong, but HEY! It's RotK!

I don't think I'll buy an illegal version of ROTK. I always want to have the original stuff, including the special features. But I think that it will be very hard to say no if someone offers me an illegal edition right now.

There's quite a big business for pirated DVDs, VCDs and videos in my area. Infact theres a market in town that I'm pretty sure would have been selling ROTK a couple of days after it came out. Think my one of friends said he was getting a copy...
I don't think I'll get a copy. Might borrow it from a friend when ROTK leaves cinemas though....

Evenstar - yes, VCD is Videdo CD My friend bought one of those, and told me there are no special features, and sometimes the subtitles are wrong, but the movie is complete, and taking the subtitles off, it's perfect. The copyright laws of the US are not applied in Brazil either, so that's why I think they can sell them...

Cool! But I don't think I would buy one even if the laws didn't apply here, I like the original version too. But that's still cool!
