Galadwen was very curious of what all was happening. She knew she recognized that rider, but from where, she did not know.
The day was beautiful, and she decided that she would take Duathlach for a ride in the forest. Heading towards the Silver Stables, she senses something, but doesn't know what.......

Before she left to the healing chambers, she turned towards Lady Galadeth.
"I am sorry to disturb your day, and I am greatful for your help." Arláthwén said softly and smiled. She turned to go to the healing chambers with the guard.
Soon enough they came to the healing chambers and the guard lay the young ranger down. Arláthwén smiled and thanked the him, then turned towards Galghir's limp body. She smiled, trying to think that all was going to be fine...yet in the back of her mind she felt that he was not going to make it...
"Hold on Galghir," She said softly, and sighed. Hearing footsteps coming towards the chamber she looked up and saw a young looking elf enter the room. Her eyes narrowed and turned softer.

Duathlach was happy to see Galadwen...he always was happy to see her. His spirit was amazing and it never ceased to occur in any situation.
Galadwen went to the tack room and got Duaths saddle and bridle, plus some supplies just in case she stopped somewhere on the way.
She gently put the saddleblanket and saddle onto Duath and made sure it was secure. Duath liked being sneaky and let the saddle slip off when Galadwen wasn't looking.
Loading the saddle bag and blanket, Galadwen then lead Duath out of the stall and outside before mounting up. The guards at the entrance smiled and let her and Duath by.
As soon as she was out of the gate she started Duath on a lope down the trail into the trees. Galadwen decided that she would head towards the big field that she could see out her chamber window. She always enjoyed watching the animals roam in that field.

Lady Galadeth spoke to Arláthwén.
"It is a pleasure to help you..." She said and went to the Gardens with Ithilwen.
They got the Athelas leaves and went to the Healing Chambers. There, Legolas was trying to help the young rider. Galadeth took some Athelas leaves and made an infusion with hot water. She put it on the wound, and the pain seemed to be less.
"Young rider... What is your name?" Galadeth asked.
"His name is Galghir." Legolas said.
"Galghir... hold on, you will be all right, I promise." Galadeth said.
"I do not know what happened, but we need to know." Legolas turned to Arláthwén. "Can you tell us what happened, young lady?" He asked. #noedit

Ithilwen, after helping the Lady Galadeth, stepped back into the shadows near the door and waited. Her hand slid to the leather message carrier slung over her shoulder, then to rest firmly on the handle of her dirk, Gildhae. Something in the back of her mind was bugging her, and it set her nerves on edge.

Arláthwén smiled at Galghir and then turned to the elf whom spoke.
"I was travelling with some friends, we were ambushed by Orcs, twenty or so. We managed to kill about fourteen...then Galghir got hit by an arrow to his shoulder..." she paused waving her hand towards Galghir.
"My other friend, Kaliath, told me to flee and get Galghir some help. Last time I saw the others, they finished killing the orcs, but more came. I am not sure if my friends are still alive, but if they are, they would retreat back towards Rivendell." Arláthwén said. She paused again and looked around.
"And so now I am here. I would send him back towards Rivendell if he should ever wake up. Too much harm has come to so far...I wouldnt want that to happen again. Me...I am not sure where I shall go...maybe to Bree...Maybe towards Minas Tirith...or back towards Rivendell..." Arláthwén sighed and looked at Galghir shaking her head.

Lady Galadeth looked at Arláthwén.
"Orcs? That is very bad... we have to go to Rivendell at once..." Galadeth said.
"Yes, but we have to wait for Galghir to heal completely..." Legolas said.
"Lord Elrond must know this. Where is Galadwen?" Galadeth asked.#noedit#nosmileys

(OOC: Nifty new ava, Galadeth! ) Ithilwen spoke up from the shadows where she stood. "I can ride as an armed escort if you wish. But before anything is done you must see the message given to me for Lord Legolas by my Lord Elrond. And I seem to remember seeing Galadwen heading towards the stables just as the Lady Galadeth and I were heading to the gardens for Athelas..."

[[ooc: I meant that the Rangers I was with would retreat towards Rivendell, not the Orc. If thats what you meant...Sorry ]] Arláthwén turned towards Lady Galadeth, "Why do you go to Rivendell, my lady? My friends are strong fighters, I do not think they would leave any orc alive. I would have known if orcs followed myself and Galghir, I sensed none; therefore no orc will pass through Mirkwood." she said. "I think I shall send Galghir south; there are some rangers who stopped at the edges of Mirkwood, there he should be safe. Meanwhile, I would be willing to escort you with Ithilwen to Rivendell, if you chose to go." She bowed slightly and waited for a response.

((OOC: Thankies, Lôthiel! )) Lord Legolas turned to Ithilwen. "Gave the message to me, Ithilwen. My Ada is not here, and I am in charge of everything." Legolas said. Lady Galadeth stood and said to Arláthwén: "It would be a pleasure to go with you to Rivendell, my friend. But I want to take care of Galghir a bit more, if there is no any problems with it..." Lady Galadeth looked at Cealthion. "Cealthion, go look for Galadwen, please, I think she should see Galghir, it seems like she knows him..." Galadeth said. Cealthion bowed down. "Yes, my lady..." Cealthion said and went look for Galadwen. #noedit

Ithilwen nodded silently as she removed the message carrier from her shoulder, unfastened the lid, and held it out to Legolas.
"There should be two older scrolls, and an additional note from my Lord Elrond," Ithilwen said quietly as she watched Legolas remove the contents from the message carrier. Ithilwen carefully scrutinized his face as she watched him proceed to unravel the scrolls and read the note from Lord Elrond.

Lord Legolas read the message, and his face shown concern.
"It seems like Lord Elrond want us to go there, Galadeth..."
Lady Galadeth, after looking at Cealthion dissapear through the Gardens, turned to Legolas.
"So soon? I wonder what happens... this Orc attack is not normal, and Lord Elrond called us so urgently... Ithilwen, he does not tell you nothing more?"
Legolas gave the note to Galadeth.
"Lady Galadeth: I need you to say to Haldir that I must see him here in Imladris. It is urgent."
Galadeth looked at Legolas.
"I do not like the tone of this note. Something really bad must be happening, and we need to go now."
At that moment, Cealthion found Galadwen.
"My lady, Lady Galadeth wants to see you in the Healing Chambers, it is something important about Galghir, the young rider from Imladris... and she needs you to go there as soon as possible..."
Cealthion bowed down and waited for an answer from Galadwen.

"Law*, Lord Legolas, my Lord Elrond did not tell me anything more. He came to my quarters in the stables late one night, about a week ago, bearing the two parchments and the hand-written note as well as a haggard countenance. He handed them to me and said:
'Rochvess* Ithilwen, secure these in your message carrier and fly with all haste to Thranduil's realm in Mirkwood. Do not release them to any but one of the Royal family, and go with care through the forest for there are things whose eyes should not behold the contents. You are my best Rochon*, and I have no doubt you will make it safely to Thamas Thranduil*. Now take your loyal Súlvor and go with all speed. Aen Elbereth le beri râd lín*.'
And so I did my Lords bidding, resting for no more than an hour or two each day before riding on. You both know the rest."
Ithilwen looked intently at Lord Legolas' and Lady Galadeth's faces, watching their expressions and waiting for their decision.

Lady Galadeth looked at Lord Legolas.
"We have to go now, Legolas..." Lady Galadeth said.
"Yes... where is Galadwen?" Legolas asked.
"I sent Cealthion for her... but it seems like she is going to be late... we have to leave as soon as possible... I think she can reach us on the road, Legolas..." Galadeth said.
"Yes... Ithilwen, go make all the settings, we are going now." Legolas said and went to his Chamber and Galadeth's.
Lady Galadeth looked at Galghir and kissed his forehead.
"I hope you get better soon, mellon nin... I have to go now..." Lady Galadeth said and turned to Ithilwen.
"Ithilwen, Arláthwén, let's go..." Galadeth said.

Ithilwen nodded and strode quickly down the corridor leaving the Healing Chambers, her bootheels clicking loudly on the flagstones. She hailed a guard.
"Hoi, you there.." she called imperiously. "Yes, m'Lady?" "You are to ready Lord Legolas' and Lady Galadeth's horses, as well as some provisions--they are flying to Imladris at the urgent bidding of my Lord Elrond. Go; there is not much time!" "Yes, m'Lady." "Oh, wait!" "Yes, m'Lady?" "Where are the stables? I need to ready my horse as well..." "Go down this corridor, out the gate and into the courtyard, then turn right and follow the short path." "Le hannon."
Ithilwen followed the guard's directions and quickly made her way to the stables. She paused in the doorway, taking in the pleasant scent of horses, then whistled. Súlvor's whinny reached her ears almost immediately and Ithilwen grinned as she made her way to where he was tethered. Súlvor nickered and nuzzled his mistress' arm as she brushed the hay off his black velvet back.
The grooms here really know how to take care of good horseflesh, Ithilwen thought to herself, impressed. Rapidly and with a sure hand, she proceeded to saddle the gelding, grinning when he danced in place--he was eager to be out on the trails once again too.
Ithilwen finished, untied Súlvor, and led him out into the sunlit courtyard. She checked her saddlebags, and was pleased to note they had been re-filled with Lembas and Miruvor as was the customary treatment of the Rechyn on their travels.
Súlvor stamped impatiently and Ithilwen patted his shoulder consolingly. She then stepped into the stirrup and vaulted easily into the saddle, proceeding to ride in slow circles to wait for the Lord and Lady. Súlvor snorted his impatience, shaking his head and causing the light to ripple and dance along his glossy black neck.
" Dorthathom, Súlvor,*" Ithilwen said softly to him, and he quieted at the sound of her voice.
*We-will-wait, Dark-wind.
