The group had just gone a little ways when the attack began. It was total chaos. Ithilwen yelled at them all to run as she was valiantly slashing with her dirk. Gildhae glittered coldly in her hand and a steely determination shone in her eyes. She shouted her challenge to the sky, her fighting spirit was rising, and she was almost frightening to look at in her wrath. A Quenya battle cry burst forth from her lungs as she battle valiantly towards where the attack was concentrated at.
"Heca, saurë ulundor! Turin i allinta maica oi tamë mi lúmë Eldaron! Tulëa ar omentië mandelyë!!*"
Many of the foul creatures fell before her hand, and then she saw Galadwen being taken. Ithilwen shrieked in her wrath and anger, her blood pulsing hot through her veins. Her hand flew to a pouch on her other side and grabbed her bolas, Lagor and Daer. As she began to whirl them and take aim, they hissed menacingly through the air. Her aim was true, but she was jostled as she let go. The bolas hissed through the air, and while they took out what looked to be the leader of the group of foul creatures, they had missed their original target of the creature who was carrying Galadwen.
Ithilwen growled in her anger at missing and began fighting to get to Galadwen. I can't let them take her--I've never lost anyone in these woods yet! Ithilwen thought to herself and renewed her attack with vigour. Sweat was pouring down her face and her arm began to feel leaden. Ithilwen hissed as she took a hit on her sword-arm, but kept on fighting. She did not know where the others had gone--she hoped the Lady Greenleaf and Linniel were safe and had gotten away towards Rivendell...
*Be gone, foul monsters! I wield the swiftest sword ever forged in the time of the Elves! Come and meet your doom!

Lady Galadeth took her Bow inmediatly. Asfaloth was very restless.
"Be quiet, Asfaloth!!!!!"
Lord Legolas was behind the group.
"Galadeth, where is Galadwen?" He asked nervously. He drew his Sword.
"Come here, monsters!"
Lady Galadeth shot some arrows, and took down a few monsters.
"What are they? I cannot see Galadwen! Ithilwen!!!!!" Lady Galadeth saw a group of men taking Galadwen.
"Galadwen, Linniel! No! Stop! Ride fast, Asfaloth, ride fast!!!!"
Lady Galadeth rode like the wind through the battle, and tried to fight the "men". She could not do it, they were a lot for her, but she could bring down two of them.
"Legolas, they have took Galadwen and Linniel! We have to help her!"
Legolas stared at Galadeth.
"What do you say, Galadeth?"*
"They took Galadwen and Linniel!!!!!" Lady Galadeth said and pointed the road. After that, she started to ride after the men. They shot and arrow and it wouded Galadeth on an arm. She continued riding, but they were far away. Legolas reached Galadeth.
"What happened?" Legolas asked looking at the Galadeth's wound. Galadeth was talking painly.
"They... kidnapped Galadwen and Linniel... the two of them..." Galadeth said.
"You are wounded..." Legolas said looking at the Galadeth's arm.
"I will be fine, Legolas. We have to go back, Ithilwen needs our help, and we need her to rescue Galadwen and Linniel..."
"Yes, you are right, Galadeth, let's go."
They went back to the fight place. There was Ithilwen.
"Ithilwen, we need to go after them! They have been kidnapped!!!!!" Lady Galadeth yelled, and her wound hurted.#noedit

Ithilwen straightened up from where she was kneeling on the ground and looked sharply up at Lady Galadwen. She glowered from where she stood next to her horse.
"I'm working on it," she hissed, barely concealing her frustration and anger at failing so miserably from escorting the royals to Imladris. Blood was shining wetly on her upper arm where it had soaked through her tunic and her riding cloak was shredded in spots. Her black hair was clinging wetly to her forehead and she had scratches on her cheek.
Súlvor stood stock still as his mistress knelt down once again and began awkwardly digging in the ground with the point of her short sword. She fumed, ignoring the dull pain in her sword arm and moved on in the direction the creatures had left, her body never more than a few feet from the ground.
Ithilwen eventually made her way to the corpse of the horde's leader and retrieved her bolas, then continued her examination of the ground.

Lady Galadeth was concerned. Galadwen and Linniel were kidnapped, and she could not do anything. She was full of anger, and sadness.
"This is not possible!!!!! I am so angry!!!!!" Lady Galadeth said. Her arm was wounded too, and it was a painy wound.
"Galadeth, be quiet, please, you are wounded..." Lord Legolas said.
"That does not matter, Legolas! Galadwen and Linniel were kidnapped, and I could not help them!" Lady Galadeth was very angry, and Asfaloth was restless.
"We have to go after them, but you need help first, the both of you are wounded..." Lord Legolas said.
Lady Galadeth was very, very angry.

Suddenly the the two of them heard a triumphant cry from their left in the woods. Ithilwen came striding back, her sword-arm hanging slightly limp by her side.
"I've found it, I've found the trail!" she called triumphantly, a steely determination showing in her eyes and set jaw. She ran her fingers through her cropped hair, pushing it back away from her forehead as she regarded the Lord and Lady.
Ithilwen then strode over to Súlvor and stepping in the stirrup, vaulted up awkwardly, grimacing as her wound in her arm pulled uncomfortably.
She watched the two Royals from Súlvor's back as she ripped a strip of cloth off her cloak with her teeth and proceeded to bind her arm tightly. Grimacing at the pain, she cocked an eye at the two.
"I will not rest until I have found them. I have never lost anyone in these woods yet, and I don't intend to start now. I will find them if it kills me to do so."
Ithilwen finished bandaging her arm and tugged the knot tight. She flexed it experimentally--it's not perfect, but it will do, she thought to herself, gathering up Súlvor's reins in her left hand.
"Shall we go hunting?" she asked sweetly, her voice belying the dangerous light in her grey-green eyes.

When Galadwen awoke, she found herself in the dark. The air was dank and it smelled of foul beasts. Her hands and legs were tied, but thankfully she was gagged.
She waited for her eyes to adjust before trying to see if Lenniel was in the same predicament as her.
"Lenniel?" Galadwen whispered. "Are you here?"
Galadwen heard a small raspy voice.
"Aye, I am here Gala. But where is here?"
Galadwen looked around some more.
"I do not know, only that it seems we are in some sort of cave."
"Pray to the Valar that someone will find us, and fast!"
It was at that point that they both heard something coming towards them, and it wasn't an elf.

At that moment, Ithilwen and Súlvor were tearing through the woods, following the trail the monstrous creatures had left as they had departed, carrying Galadwen and Lenniel with them.
She was furious, and Súlvor snorted for he felt her wrath.
The two wove nimbly in between trees as one; Ithilwen was not concerned with losing the trail with their forward speed--branches were bent and broken everywhere, and the ground was trampled.
Whoever they were, they did not fear being tracked, she thought idly as the pair continued on their way.
She was coming.
It had been tough; convincing the Royals to continue on their way to Imladris and raising the alarm, but she'd done it. They were riding fast (yet not without caution) towards Imladris, and they would gather a force in arms.
Don't get ahead of yourself, Ithilwen reminded herself sharply as Súlvor dodged around a tree. Her body followed her mount's motion as if they were one and the same creature. The pair rode on.
Ithilwen, Rider of Imladris, was coming.

((here we go, back into action...sorry it took so long))
Galadwen had started to crawl towards Lenniel, hoping that she would reach her in time before thier captors came.
Everytime she had moved an inch, her side hurt...they must have injured her while in transit, but not enough to make her immovable. By the time she reached Lenniel, she was very tired.
Knowing that she had a knife hidden in her boot, Galadwen and Lenniel tried and tried to get it free.
The footsteps had gotten closer and closer, louder and louder. Who knows when they would come in the room.
Galadwen had finally been able to reach her knife and started to cut Lenniel's bonds first. Galadwen loved her sister dearly and she would risk her life for her anytime.
The bonds were rough and hard to cut, but Galadwen finally succeeded and Lenniel was free. Then Lenniel took the knife and started to cut Galadwen's bonds, hoping they could do it fast and make a run for it.
Galadwen saw a light coming out of the east corridor, the one she was hoping that would take them out of the cave, the sun was shining brightly through the corridor, it must be getting ready to set.
Lenniel finished just in time as they both heard voices coming down the north corridor.
They both got up quickly and ran towards the light. Thier captors must have heard them because she heard loud footfalls coming after them.
They soon got to the outside, as Galadwen had hoped..they both ran for the hug trees surrounding the cave, hoping that they would be able to climb one and escape.Quickly thinking, Galadwen took her necklace that she was wearing off, and dropped it near the entrance to the cave, just in case someone was looking for them.
Lenniel and Galadwen didn't get far though, because there seemed to be guards all around them. There would be no escape from these menaces.
All hope had failed.

(OOC: It's quite alright Gala; you've been busy! ) Ithilwen and Súlvor had been riding for hours now and the sun was beginning to set behind them. Her legs felt locked in their position and her sword-arm was beginning to ache. I'll have to stop and re-bandage it here pretty soon, she thought to herself as Súlvor began to canter up an incline. She checked him abruptly at the top of the hill and dismounted quickly. Her legs felt limp and Ithilwen stumbled a little as her feet hit the ground. There were lights down below as if from campfires, and Ithilwen quickly turned around and led Súlvor back out of sight. " Dortho hí, mellonen,*" Ithilwen whispered to her loyal gelding, and dropping the reins, ground-tied him. Ithilwen then proceeded to drop to the ground and creep back up to the rise. Her arm hurt and she bit her lip to keep from grunting aloud with her effort to scale the hill. Ithilwen finally made it, and cautiously looked down. The light was fading fast, and she looked back anxiously; Good, she thought, Súlvor blends in with the darkness. Ithilwen smiled grimly as she returned her gaze to the camp below. This was her prey; she would stake them out for a couple of days to be sure of their habits before attempting to infiltrate their camp and rescue Galadwen and her sister Lenniel. Satisfied, Ithilwen crept back down to where Súlvor was ground-tied, and retrieving him, the pair moved further away. She had to find water of some sort, not only to clean her wound, but also for her black companion. The next few days would be interesting. *Wait here, my friend

Galadwen and Lenniel were both grabbed and dragged back into the darkness. Not a word was said to them by thier captors. The darkness was terrifying to Galadwen and she feared for her sister.
Soon they were placed on the ground, thier bonds were replaced, tighter then before. The pain was abounding and the blood rushed from her hands. Lenniel screamed in pain.
Galadwen tried to get to her sister, but they mercilessly pushed her back so she couldn't.
Galadwen waited till they left to get near her sister.
"Lenniel! Are you alright?"
Lenniel looked up and looked Galadwen straight in the eyes, eyes that were wet from tears.
"I am fine, thel. Just in a little bit of pain."
Galadwen nodded her head,"I'm sorry this happened to you, thel. None of this should never have happened! If Galadeth and Legolas had not forced me to go, then we wouldn't be in this mess!"
The anger had risen high in Galadwen's mind. She would figure out a way to get free, but she did not know how or if anybody was coming to thier aid.

Ithilwen tossed away the piece of grass she had been chewing on. She had been watching the encampment for three days and believed she had figured out the creature's comings and goings. At last, she thought, I have found a window in time to sneak in to rescue my friends!
Ithilwen dropped to her belly and crawled back out of sight. She returned to the small stream she had located a couple of days ago, and gingerly removing her bandage, proceeded to clean her arm's wound and re-bind it. I could not find any less conspicuous entrances to the cave, she thought, so I will just have to time it to get in from the main entry! A grim smile hovered around her mouth--there was nothing like a challenge!
Ithilwen looked at Súlvor; he was patiently waiting, fully saddled for the quick getaway they would make, hopefully bearing two passengers other than herself.
"It is time," Ithilwen said softly to herself and rose to her feet.
"It is time."

Ithilwen anxiously ran her fingers through her cropped hair, and her pale eyes flashed. This was going to be harder than she originally thought! She looked back and could no longer see her faithful horse waiting for her.
"I hope I the royals completed their mission--I will need an armed escort to help fend off these ulundor* when I make the getaway," she murmured softly to herself as she lay in tall grass not 30 feet from the only entrance. At least she was not near the main encampment and only had to get by two "guards."
I wonder what they wanted Galadwen and Lenniel so bad for...? Neither of them were carrying any 'sensitive' information as far as I was aware... Ithilwen thought, intensely staring at the single guard by the entrance. The other one had left for some reason, what, Ithilwen did not know.
"Here goes," she murmured quietly, steeling herself for the dash she would have to make into the cave. Gildhae, her dirk, was clasped in her other hand, and she weighed a hefty rock in her other. Looking around carefully, she waited until the nearest group of the foul creatures had dissipated and moved further away.
Here is my chance! Ithilwen launched the rock into the air and clear into the bushes on the other side of the entrance. The single guard stiffened up and looked.
Go, go go go! Ithilwen was thinking strongly, urging the creature to go investigate.
The guard swayed back and forth with indecision, but then proceeded to go investigate the noise, sword out, but its back turned in Ithilwen's direction. She grinned as she crawled even closer to the entrance way, and picking up another rock, launched it well again into a set of bushes even further away from the first. She waited, and the guard stomped off to investigate the source of the new sound.
Ithilwen took her chance and darted into the shadowy opening of the cave.
The guard looked around and seeing nothing amiss, returned to his post.

Galadwen was not feeling good at all. All the stress of what was happening, plus being dragged back into the dark, dank cave didn't help matters.
Lenniel was asleep finally, after Galadwen had coaxed her to rest. As much as Galadwen needed rest, but she needed to keep watch over her dear sister...who knows what would happen in the middle of the night.
Many hours had passed and no action or guard changing ever happened. They must be very strong and sturdy if they can do long hours of shift watch.
Galadwen hoped that Ithilwen or someone would at least be trying to rescue them. She would hate to have anything happen to them before a rescue was attempted.
Lenniel stirred a little in her sleep and Galadwen looked over at her to make sure she was as comfortable as she could be in the circumstances.
Galadwen heard something, someone or something was moving in the corridor, but she didn't know how far away it was or what it was.
Was someone coming to their aid?

Ithilwen pressed her back against the stone of the wall, willing herself to dissolve into the shadows. Cautiously, she looked around, and seeing no one, she stealthily continued on her way.
I hope I can find them... the doubt flitted across her mind but she ignored it. In the territory of the Enemy was no place to have doubts. She must be sure of her actions at all times--there was no room for doubt.
Ithilwen continued on, then paused in the corridor, her pale green eyes glinting in the sallow light as she regarded a locked door. There was only one guard standing there...
Deep in her heart she felt that this was where Galadwen and Lenniel were being kept.
Ithilwen shifted her feet and her hand slid to the leather pouch containing her bolas, Lagor and Daer. Quietly she shifted her position so she could be concealed in shadows as she approached. The guard had not even heard her move, and Ithilwen held her breath as she moved around to the guards left side. She could scarcely dare to hope...
THUMP!
The guard crumpled in a heap at the foot of the door--he had never even knew what hit him. Ithilwen smiled grimly and peered through a crack in the door...

In the middle of the night Galadwen had found a sharp piece of metal, so she used it to break the bonds around her legs, and while Lenniel slept, she had done the same to her.
Galadwen turned at a sound of a great big thud outside the door. "Wonder what that was." she thought.
Slowly getting up, Galadwen krept over to the door and peeked out. To her surprise she saw Ithilwen's face.
"Ithilwen!" Galadwen shreaked.
"You have come! I knew you would. How are we to escape? These doors are very thick and strong."
Ithilwen chuckled.
"Would a key work? Seems that this guard I zapped had one."
Galadwen smirked.
"Key's always work."
Turning to Lenniel, Galadwen woke her up.
"Lenniel! Ithilwen has come to rescue us! We must move quickly!"
Wide-eyed, Lenniel jumped up and made ready to escape......one problem....both of them were still tied up....their hands anyway....hopefully Ithilwen would have a knife with her to break these bonds. That little piece of metal would do no good for quick action.
