"Noeth nín darthar ah Ithilwen.*" Commented Galadwen to Lenniel. "Let us follow to make sure she gets the care that she needs."
Lenniel nodded her head and followed Galadwen in the Hall.
"Ithilwen! Wait up! We wish to come with thee!"
Ithilwen paused in her pace, with a grimace, but quickly smiled to hide the pain in her arm.
Galadwen frowned for she knew that Ithilwen was in more pain then she let on.
Putting her arm around Ithilwen, Galadwen helped her into the middle Hall. The healer should be around here somewhere.
*"My thoughts stay with Ithilwen."

((OOC: Golly! I sure am long-winded lately... )) Ithilwen chuckled at Galadwen and Lenniel. " 'tis only my arm--I will not faint!" she said laughingly as she was led to a chair and sat down. "Really you two--I have survived much worse than this and 'tis a long way from my heart." At that moment Ithilwen spied her younger brother Falasion walking down the hall. She hailed him. "Hoi! Falasion!" Falasion grinned and jogged the remaining way, his face lighting up as he saw the two noble ladies in the company of his sister, then frowning in concern as he realized his sister was injured. "And what have you done to yourself this time?" he asked in mock asperity, his eyes twinkling in mischief once he saw she was not seriously injured. Ithilwen rolled her eyes and grunted. "Just go and get Naneth*, ok?" Falasion snickered. He couldn't resist taunting his sister a little. "And what if I say she left with the great search party to find you and these noble ladies here?" Ithilwen rolled her eyes at her brother's slightly infatuated stare at the two ladies, and kicked him lightly with the toe of her boot. "Ow! Wha--" "Bado a toltho Nana, lagoreb! U-neitho nin o thaed!" Falasion grinned at his sister and held his hands up as if to keep her from assaulting him. Ithilwen chuckled. "Ethelithon*!" Falasion called as he jogged back down the corridor to locate their mother, Mírfaen. Galadwen and Linniel looked at each other and hid smiles as they watched him disappear. Ithilwen had leaned her head back against the chair and partly closed her eyes. Ai Elbereth! It's surprising how it is beginning to hurt more now than it did--I suppose it's because my mind is no longer on other things... she mused as she waited for her rogue of a brother to return with her healer mother. *Mother *Go and fetch Mom, swiftly! Do not deprive me of help! *I will return!

Galadwen saw a very beautiful lady elf coming down the hallway, she was the spitten image of Ithilwen, only a little older.
Galadwen and Lenniel both bowed when the lady came near. She smiled and bowed as well to them.
"Mae govannen, hiril nin. I am Galadwen and this is my sister, Lenniel. Your daughter brought use safely from our captures, but she is injured. She needs to be looked after, as she is in much pain."
Ithilwen's mother smiled and nodded her head.
"It is good to see you safe, hiril nin Galadwen and hiril nin Lenniel. Word had spread that you were captured and was in need of rescue. Lord Elrond himself had gone out to try to find you. My heart leaps with joy for your return. Ithilwen, let us go tend these wounds. It shall need stitches." She said with a wink.
Ithilwen growned and followed her mother down the hall.
Galadwen turned towards Lenniel and commented on Ithilwen's mother.
"I so wish our mother was still alive, it brings such joy to your heart to be cared for."
Lenniel smiled and nodded in response.
"Aye, Gala, it would be so good to have a mother again."

"Naneth," Ithilwen said by way of greeting to her mother. Just seeing Mírfaen again brought back hard memories of the loss of her father--with difficulty she pushed them to the back of her mind as her mother led her down the corridor.
"So you have been moved into new accomodations?" Ithilwen asked as they rounded the corner and entered an unfamiliar room.
"Yes--Lord Elrond was kind enough to initiate the change when that small host of Rangers came after being attacked by yrch--there was no room in the other facilities."
Ithilwen nodded as she sat down on the available chair in the room and rolled up the sleeve of her grimy tunic. With some trepidation she eyed her mother as Mírfaen proceeded to gather her materials.
"What are you doing...?"
"Hold still--"
Ithilwen subconsciously tightened her muscles as she tried to sit perfectly still as her mother went to work. She gasped a little as Mírfaen cleaned the deeper parts of the wound.
"You really got yourself this time. This is fairly deep and at least a hands-length..." Ithilwen said nothing--she was concentrating on other things so it would lessen the pain. Mírfaen spoke again: "Your healing skills are good--there has been no infection. What happened during the fight?"
"I do not clearly remember," Ithilwen said, ruefully and with a half-smile. Mírfaen glanced at her daughter's face and smirked.
"Cenin...*"
Ithilwen sighed as she sat still while her mother proceeded to bandage the now clean wound.
"Am I done?"
"Yes; it should be healed enough to go without a bandage in a few days' time," Mírfaen said with a smile. She then shook her head at her only daughter. "You are much like your father--always brave in the face of danger and willing to help a soul in need regardless of the risk to yourself. You are truly a great scout, Sellen*."
Ithilwen blushed and absentmindedly smoothed the bandage on her arm. "Le hannon, Nana.*"
Mírfaen grinned and shooed her daughter off the chair. "Go--if I am not mistaken your rogue brother is hovering anxiously in the corridor, and the two ladies need to be shown to their quarters."
Ithilwen grinned and nodded to Mírfaen as she left the room.
*I see... *My daughter *Thank you, Mom

While waiting Galadwen had a strong wave of lightheadedness. She always had these waves when something bad was going to happen.
She had the wave when they were attacked on the road, and after feeling these waves she always fainted for some odd reason. Maybe in thinking that nothing would happen if she did so.
Galadwen put her hand to her forehead and eventually sat in the chair that Ithilwen had sat in while waiting for her Nana.
Lenniel looked very concerned and ran down the Hall to meet up with Ithilwen.
Ithilwen was just coming out of the room when she saw Lenniel running to meet her.
"What is wrong, hiril Lenniel?"
Lenniel tried to catch her breathe, but before she could, Ithilwen looked down the hall to see Galadwen collapsed on the floor.
Running down the hall Ithilwen almost slid to a stop where Galadwen was laying.
Putting a hand to Galadwen's forehead, she felt very hot to the touch. Yelling down the hall, Ithilwen called for her Nana once more.

Mírfaen came running when she heard the urgent note in her daughter's voice. Her steps echoed hollowly down the empty Hall as she approached the group. "Man, Sellen? Hiril Galadwen ú-vae?*" "She is burning up..." Ithilwen told her mother, concerned. Linniel was hovering anxiously around her sister, and Ithilwen felt her brother's presence. Mírfaen got up from where she had knelt on the floor. "Come, Falasion, we need to move the Lady Galadwen to one of the Healing rooms." Falasion gently picked Galadwen up and followed his mother back down the hall. Ithilwen patted Linniel on the shoulder. "Muinthel lín nestatha lagor. Avo 'osto, Hiril Linniel.*" Linniel nodded and clasped Ithilwen's free hand, then hurried to catch up to her sister further down the hall. Ithilwen turned and walked out of the hall into the full sunlight of mid-morning. She closed her eyes and paused on the steps into the courtyard, smiling. Ai, it is good to be back... My recovery shall be short, and then I will have to ride out once again... But that will not be bad--just no more ulunn a yrch! Ithilwen smiled wryly to herself and then looked around that the wonderous gardens of Imladris. It was long since she walked through them... Ithilwen continued down the steps and began to walk through the garden. *What, my Daughter? Is Lady Galadwen not well? --I'm not sure I've got the right adj. as I don't have my Sindarin Dictionary at the moment... *Your sister will heal fast. Don't worry, Lady Linniel

Falasion carried Galadwen into one of the healing chambers followed closely by Mírfaen and Lenniel.
Galadwen was not well, something else had happened that neither of them knew about.
Falasion left so the ladies could be in private. Mirfaen looked over Galadwen's body for what she was looking for and finally found it on her backside. A small cut, greenish in color, with the veins showing underneath.
It was a cut from only one blade, a morgoth blade. Not the same kind as Ithilwen's cut had been.
The cut had closed up, so Mirfaen took up her knife to open it again. She would have to put some kingsfoil in the wound, so it would begin to heal.
And if she didn't do it quickly, then Galadwen would soon pass on.
Lenniel watched nervously by the door. After Mirfaen had done all she could do, she walked over to Lenniel and put a hand on her shoulder.
"Come, let us go for a walk. Hiril Galadwen needs her rest for now."
Upon exiting the chamber they walked down the wall and out to the gardens. They noticed Ithilwen walking among the leaves as well.

Ithilwen stopped when she heard the sound of many horses and people returning, then quickly strode out of the garden to meet the host as they came through the gates. Lord Elrond was riding his white charger at the front of the group and when he saw her standing in the courtyard, he called a halt and dismounted. One of the attendants came and led his horse away as he walked forward.
"Rochvess Ithilwen," he said in his lilting voice, and Ithilwen dropped to one knee in front of him, bowing her head.
"Hiren*" "Erio*"
Ithilwen rose and looked Lord Elrond square in the eye. "I have brought them back."
"Very good. You have never been one to take duty lightly. I shall want to see you in my study later--right now, I wish to see these two ladies who were so interesting to the ulunn, and to finish the task for which you were sent to bring them here." Lord Elrond raised his hand and the host behind him began to disband. He continued. "You have done well in the face of odds not in your favor. Come, take me to the Ladies Galadwen and Linniel."
Ithilwen bowed her head proceeded to lead her Lord into the Imladris complex.
*My Lord *Rise

Upon entering the garden Lenniel and Mirfaen saw Lord Elrond coming towards them. Ithilwen was with him, leading him towards the Hall.
Lenniel and Mirfaen both bowed in humble adoration for Lord Elrond.
"Hiren."
"Erio."
Both of them rose. Lenniel stood back in awe, for she had never had the honor of meeting Lord Elrond before.
Lord Elrond was the first to speak.
"Hiril Mirfaen, It is good to see you again."
"And I Hir nin. May I present Hiril Lenniel, youngest sister of Hir Legolas. Hiril Galadwen is inside." Mirfaen said with a lilt in her voice.
Elrond knew immediately what was wrong.
"Take me to her immediately!"

Ithilwen bowed her head slightly to her Lord and bade him to follow her mother. Mírfaen led the group inside the Imladris complex and to her new healing rooms where they saw Lady Galadwen resting comfortably on a bed.
Ithilwen backed away, allowing Lord Elrond to confer with Mírfaen. They spoke in whispers:
"It was a morgul blade which caused her current condition, Hiren." "Cenin... I take it you removed it since she no longer appears to be in pain..." "Yes, and I packed the wound with athelas." "Very good."
Lord Elrond strode over to the bed where Lady Galadwen lay and placed a hand on her forehead.
"Tolo dan nan galad," he said softly, yet the words resonated around the room.
*Come back to the light

The room was well ventilated, and what few white curtains that was there swayed in the fresh breeze. Birds could be heard chirping in the boughs of the trees right outside the room's balcony. Sunlight streamed through; everything was bathed in gold warmth. Soft voices singing in some old hymn flowed through the room, sweet and gentle. There was a groan as someone stirred within...
The room slowly and blurrily came into view; it was just so bright to such darkened eyes! Groaning, the eyes closed again, their owner not really caring about getting up. The warm sun was a welcome relief; and the smell of the air was rich and clean. It was the smell and feeling of Rivendell; and there was no reason to be worried anymore of safety.
~~~~~~~
Galadwen opened her eyes to see Lord Elrond staring at her, smiling. She almost was startled to see him, but not surprised. She was glad that he came back.
Galadwen tried to speak, but all her words came out in a raspy voice.
Lord Elrond raised his hand.
" Do not speak, what you need now is rest. After you have rested enough we can talk." Smiling he turned to Lenniel and put a hand on her shoulder.
"Galadwen will be fine now. Nothing to worry about, but she does need her rest. Now, come, let us all leave Hiril Galadwen to her rest."
Ithilwen backed away from the room, and stealthily made her way back down the hall and outside. She wasn't really paying attention to where her feet were leading her, but she was not surprised when she found herself in the stable-area. She paused, closing her eyes, and inhaled the smells she loved. Ithilwen smiled and walked in and down to where Súlvor had been stabled.
His coat gleamed like black velvet, and he was contentedly nibbling at the flake of hay Ariel had left for him. I must remember to thank her later, Ithilwen reminded herself as she absentmindedly stroked her horse's neck. Her arm throbbed slightly and Ithilwen winced, but continued stroking her horse.
We will be off as soon as I am well--I cannot stay here for long, she thought, frowning. Ithilwen gave her horse a gentle slap and strolled out of the stable.
I should probably go and see if Lord Elrond is available--he did say he wanted to see me in his study later... she thought and strode back towards the Imladris complex.
Later that day Lenniel went to visit her sister, Galadwen, just to see how she faired. Upon entering the room Lenniel noticed how cold it felt in the room, yet how warm it was outside.
This is odd.She thought.
Galadwen was sleeping peacefully, or Lenniel thought she was. All of the sudden Galadwen screamed and jumped out of bed, falling on the floor with a thud.
"Gala! Are you alright?!" Exclaimed Lenniel as she ran to Galadwen's side.
Shaking her head as to clear her thoughts, Galadwen nodded her head.
"I think so. I just had a horrid dream, one of my nightmares. I think I need to go for a walk to clear my head. Will you come with me Len?"
Lenniel smiled.
"Of course i'll come with you! Besides I don't think Hir Elrond would be very happy if I didn't accompany you."
Galadwen chuckled.
"Your probably right about that one."
Ithilwen stood just outside the carved oak door of Lord Elrond's study, debating as to whether she was really up to a conference. Better now than later, she thought to herself and raised her hand to rap on the door, but Lord Elrond opened it quickly before her hand could descend.
"Come in, Rochvess Ithilwen. I have been waiting."
Ithilwen blinked, attempting to jumpstart her brain before nodding and walking into her superior's study.
"Please, have a seat," he said, graciously gesturing at one of the plush chairs in front of his carved oak desk. Ithilwen sat down, awkwardly adjusting her arm in its sling, and looking at Lord Elrond expectantly.
"Now," and Elrond sat in his chair and faced her, his eyes holding hers as he folded his hands on his desk, "report what happened, and don't omit any detail you can remember."
Ithilwen swallowed and nodded. She adjusted her position in the chair once more and taking a deep breath, launched in to a detailed account of everything that had happened on her since she left Imladris for Thranduil's realm. Ithilwen included everything from the delivery of the notes, abduction, her quest to rescue the two royal sisters, and their journey back to Imladris. When she was done, she sat back in the chair and gently rubbed her bandaged arm--it had begun throbbing toward the end of her report.
Light shone through the open windows of Lord Elrond's office, illuminating the books and parchments on his shelf and desk. Elrond suddenly stood up and opened the door for her into the Great Hall. They exited his study and Lord Elrond turned to Ithilwen.
"Le hannon, Rochvess Ithilwen, your memory is as clear as ever. You have told me just what I needed to know, and now, I need to pay a visit to the two ladies you rescued."
He gracefully inclined his head to her, and she returned the gesture before he strode out of the Hall.
Linniel helped Galadwen to a small grove of trees. She gracefully lay under the trees and took in all the smells around her.
"I do not know what I shall do with myself, Linniel. I have become what I had hoped I would never be."
Linniel turned towards her sister.
"Galadwen, you have and shall always be my friend. Anything you go through or happens to you, I shall stick by your side."
Galadwen smiled and reached over to give Linniel a hug.
Down the path, Lord Elrond was making his way towards them. Upon seeing him, Galadwen made with as much grace as possible to get up from her spot. It was very hard to do with the tense muscles in her back.
Linniel got up first and then proceeded to help Galadwen up. The finally suceeded by the time that Lord Elrond approached.
Both bowing down humbly before him.
"Hir nin." They replied together.
"Hiril nin Galadwen and Lenniel." said Lord Elrond with an inclined head.
"It would honor me so to see you in my chambers. There is much to discuss."
"Aye, Hir nin. It would honor us to do so." Galadwen responded.
He again inclined his head a bayed the ladies to follow him.
