Hollowhead sighed; he couldn't remember, as usual, where he lived. His enthouse should be just where he was standing but somehow he had forgotten which way to turn and hadn't a clue where his house was. He searched and searched but could find no trace of the place he had once called home; he couldn't even remember what it had looked like. He knew if he didn't find his enthouse soon all memory would fade that he ever owned it and he would have to make a new one, years later perhaps he would stumble across it and it would all come flooding back as had happened so many times before. He found himself by a clear stream, he waded in and felt the cool water wash around him. A lily floated gently past, he suddenly held the picture of a fair entwife in his mind, lost in his locked memory. "Lillybough" he whispered, this was his chance, and he would find her again. Somehow he felt that losing her had been the start of his forgetfulness and to find her might bring his memory back to him. He climbed out of the steam and was off crashing through the trees of Fangorn, ready to find his love. ((It's Pip's post next because we've already written this stuff but we shouldn't be too long copy and pasting this and I'll tell you when we're done. ))

Leafbranch, with orange-gold leaves clinging from his branches and sea-green eyes wakes from his sleep and looks at the ent moving past him. He looks at the fellow ent for a while, studying him from root to leaf and discovered the ent was Hollowhead.
"Has your forgetfulness made you forget this way leads to the edges of the forest?" called Leafbranch to Hollowhead with an air of childish foolishness.
"I cannot let you leave the forest, orders from the Old one. Unless a strange fate and adventure has come to you."
(( Done. Thank ye Riv.))

((No probs )) "Perhaps it has," said Hollowhead trying desperately to place this familiar ent with a name. He gave up, "what is your name young enting?" he asked.

"Have you forgotten again Hollowhead?" said Leafbranch with a grin.
"Certainly you wouldn't have forgotten where your home is as well? I'm telling you now, my name is Leafbranch." with this, Leafbranch's orange-gold leaves playfully dance with a rush of soft wind. " Don't forget now, will ye?"
Leafbranch liked to speak hasty to annoy the older ones who would take things patiently and slowly. Unlike him, he wasn't originally from Fangorn Forest to speak truthfully.

"Leafbranch, hoom sounds.......familiar hmm hoom. Well in any case young ent I'm in a hurry and need to be on my way so hmmm if you'll excuse me.” said Hollowhead to the overexcited young ent.

Leafbranch looks with surprise at Hollowhead.
"..you in a hurry? I cannot believe this. What is this thing that is so important to make you go on a hurry? That's not of you to be hasty... I've never seen you been hasty...ever."
Leafbreanch looks at Hollowhead and notices determination in his eyes. Full of wonder he says.
"Tell me all about it!"

"There is hoom.....nothing to tell, young Leafbranch. I am off......to find the hmm hoom entwives." He said extremely surprised and shocked at what had just issued out of his mouth because: 1. He remembered where he was going, this was very unusual and he normally forgot where he was headed. 2. He remembered Leafbranch’s name, he usually forgot names almost instantly. 3. He was extraordinarily hasty. “Well bless my bark as noble Fangorn himself says, that’s the strangest thing in a longway. I remembered your name and my purpose. Well there something strange about that for sure young ent you mark my words. But alas the time is nigh, I must be off.”

"Bless your bark indeed!" said Leafbranch with surprise.
"Isn't it Lillybough you're looking for? We haven't seen entwives for years have we?" Leafbranch said trying to remember something long forgotten and unspoke of.
"May I follow you on your quest? For I wish to see how entwives look like, as I've seen none before."

"Hrum....hmmm.....hoom hoom, I suppose you could accompany me, but I warn you, it will be no short and easy road. We may encounter peril and wonder, terror and adventure, as has not being encountered in an age. In fact, I think the last expedition of the nature was before I lost my memory, before," he sighed. "Lillybough went away...." He broke off sadly, trying to recall her presence to him, but it was no use. His memory was as blank as ever. “Well if your going to come, we must be off now, are you coming with me, or are you staying here to dwindle among the trees?” ((After Pip's next post then we are all out of the pre-written stuff and people can jump in when ever they like! )

"Well, what are we doing standing here? Let's go now, let us go!"
Leafbranch couldn't wait to see outside the forest, even thought he had long kept this a secret.
"I care not for peril, if this will be indeed the first and maybe last journey of some ents, then let it be!"
