This is continuted from Adventurous Hobbits, found >>here<<. I would like to get the RP going again, but in order to fix a few errors with the continuity and to get the story back on track, we're backing up a bit. These are the posts we're starting from: "Wow I'd like that!" piped up Belle cheerfully. She sat beside the fire keeping toasty warm when something caught her sharp eyes. "Well I know something that will defiantly get you're spirits soaring even if Daisy's story didn’t'! MUSHROOMS!" Belle screamed and ran toward the small clump of them she had just spotted. Soon everyone was gorging on the particularly tasty mushrooms and arguing over seconds and in some cases fifths! ((LOL!!! That was an intersting retelling...)) Bramblerose, gorged herself on the mushrooms, thinking about the story Daisy had just told. She admired Mr. Bilbo's bravery, and she hoped, in the face of danger, she would posses the same courage.

Ruby was deep in thought, examining the book of elvish, but her concentration was broken instantaneously just by the mention of mushrooms. She rushed over to them and began stuffing her mouth.
"Hey, Ruby! Quit hogging 'em!" One of her friends said, "leave enough for all of us!"
"There's no doubt that there's enough for all of us," Ruby said standing up and peeking over the shrubbery surrounding them. On the outside of the circle of shrubbery, there were hundreds, probably thousands, of big, juicy, fresh mushrooms.

(((Ivy's Elvish will now be in English translation only, to avoid annoying Proboards, but I have the Elvish version available)))
Ivy tramped along, feeling miserable. Part of her wanted to be going home, but the Took part kept saying, "You walked away from adventure." She knew she could never catch up with them now. When she got home, the Took portraits would laugh at her, and how could she ever face her hero, Mr Baggins?
"I'm not going home!" she said. "I will find another adventure! I will kill a dragon by myself if I must."
There was a tall tree beside the path. Perhaps she could see the others one last time before they went their way. She climbed, with some difficulty. Her resemblance to a squirrel was limited to a love of hazelnuts.
As she reached the top, she could see them, sitting close together and eating something. "It's not fair!" she said. Then, because it lacked intensity, she repeated it in Elvish in a great shout, "The bloodstained betrayer dances!" Then she said it again.
A great bird flew over and landed in another tree. "What betrayer? What has happened?" it said.
Ivy was filled with pity for it. "You don't speak very good Elvish, do you?" she said, "I am sad because my friends are far away and I can never reach them before they go."
The eagle looked and said, "They do not seem far away. One fair swoop would put you amongst them. They are feasting on mushrooms, and are unlikely to move far until there are none to be found."
"You can see mushrooms?" said Ivy. She smiled and then stopped, "I can't fly. I am not an eagle."
"With your command of Sindarin, you cannot be." he said. She smiled at the compliment. "I could carry you there, but you must remain calm."
She stood up straight, nearly toppling out of the tree. "I am not an eagle," she said, "But I am a Took!"
He picked her up in his talons and lifted her out of the tree. The land below moved swiftly and the wind buffetted her, but she did not cry out. Instead she thought of Bilbo's stories and of being back with the others.
As he set her down beside her friends, she bowed and thanked him in Elvish, "The Ents shine white."
He bowed his head and also spoke Elvish, "Wild hobbit, the elves will not understand you, but they will see your great heart."
Then he flew away. Ivy turned to the others and tried to look like the kind of person who rode eagles every day. "I heard a rumour about mushrooms."

Daisy watched in wonder as Ivy was set down by the eagle. Not only was her cousin an expert in Elvish, she was also a friend of the eagles! After the eagle flew off and Ivy spoke to them, Daisy ran up to her cousin and gave her a big hug, knocking her over in the process.
"Ivy!! You've come back to us! I missed you ever so much, and didn't know what I was going to do without you!"
She helped Ivy up off the ground, then practically dragged her over to the other hobbits, cheerfully stating the obvious, "Ivy's come back!"#noedit

Bramblerose looked up from her mushroom-eating, and gave a loud cry, "Ivy, you're back!!". "I really thought you would come back, you know, because you must know how much we need you. Talking with the elves and all! But I'm just glad you're here because I love you and we wouldn't get very far without you!", she let out, and gave Ivy a loving hug to top Daisy's. "Oh, do you want some mushrooms? They're quite good...".#noedit

Ivy hugged all her dear companions and found a soft tussock to sit on as she ate her share of the mushrooms. "I wonder how far it is to where the elves live." she said, "Maybe we will find Master Elrond in Rivendell and eat a feast with the elves in Mirkwood." Her voice trailed off as she began to think of what delicious things elves might make with mushrooms.

After all the welcoming had died down a bit, Ruby ran over to where she kept her belongings, and picked up Ivy's elvish book and dagger. She ran back over to where they were feasting on the mushrooms and handed them to her. "Well, when we do meet the elves, we'll need to know elvish! It's a terriffic book!"
Ruby sat down and continued eating the mushrooms. "These mushrooms are especially good. Maybe we should bring some with us for the trip!"
