Patience was not a strong virtue of Willow's. She was itching to get moving, standing around all day was too slow for her. She wanted to start walking - but she unfortunately did not know which way Bree was....

'Let's go!!' Daisy said. 'If we want to reach Bree by nightfall, we must hurry. I don't know far it is, so we need to get moving!'

'Wait!' Willow's sensible side kicked in... 'What about food and other supplies?? What if we're going to be a while, my uncle and and aunt will start to wonder where I've gone...Should we meet someplace later today? Or just go now!??'.

'Oh... well, we were already on our way.' Daisy got worried Willow might not go with them. 'You'll still go, won't you?'

'Oh, of course I want to go!!!!! I live close to here, about two minutes away - I'll go run an grab some stuff now. I'll be back in ten minutes, don't leave without me!' Willow said quickly, then without waiting for a little reply (she was always a little hasty..) she took off in the opposite direction.

When Willow got back, carrying an old bag and a walking stick, they set off again. After walking for a little while, they came across an inn by the name of The Springle-ring. 'Let's go ahead and stay here for the night so we can rest good before going to Bree.' They went inside, and sat down at a table together.

A few moments later, Willow got up from the table to get a drink. 'Does anyone else want anything? I'm having a pint meself,' she grinned broadly. #nosmileys

Ivy also had a pint and took the opportunity to teach them more elvish. *"Rî nín trastatha i dalagan." she said. That is "I am drinking a pint of ale."

Rî nín trastatha i dalagan. Willow tried to pronounce the words, but failed miserably. She ignored the smirks on the other hobbit's faces and ordered her pint. Once she felt the mug between her hands, she felt her heart lightening. Taking a big swig, she felt as light as a feather...
After a few moments she thought she heard the start of some delightful music...

'Ah... this ale is good! I've only had a little at a time before. A whole pint! It sure does make you feel good! I feel really hyper!' Daisy said, giggling.

Willow giggled...'I've had some ale before myself, but not any as good as this..'

Belle sipped her ale "Riit niln trastcatha i dagansa. Was that right?" She asked Ivy eagerly. Ivy explained that you have to get the pronunciation exactly right or the elves might think we were talking nonsense! Belle nodded wondering how Ivy managed it.

Bungo had just arrived at The Springle-ring that evening; he was travelling back to his home in Bree after visiting relatives in Hobbiton. Right now he was sitting alone at a table, slowly drinking a pint. He heard, from a table near him a group of Hobbits practicing bits of a language he had never heard before. His curiosity getting the better of him, he slowly got up and made his way to the table. "Hello folks, my name is Bungo Tunnelly. It's rare that people can speak so finely in these parts," he said with admiration in his voice.
