The figure revealed himself. He was a hobbit, around his 15, but there was something in his look that made him look older and with many-a-burden carrying hobbit.
"Do not expect to find Elves here. They barely walked here and don't anymore. The place they used to go through this road was The Havens, and long has the roads leading to it have been blocked." A stern look came over his face. "This is no place for young, adventurous hobbits. You would better leave, before It finds you. One thing I can tell you, if you don't find It, then It will find you."
He looked at the hobbits, he recognized some Tooks. And what caught his eye was that Elvish book.
" ...could I see that for a moment, young lady?"

"Sure!" Ruby recognized him as a fellow Took, and handed over the notebook without hesitation.
"Whatever 'It' you are talking about, I think it's already found us, and we scared it off!" She said, proudly remembering their brush with danger. "Why don't you just call it a Warg-i-wolf?"

The hobbit took the book with his hands, and then looked at the hobbit who made the comment about the Wargwolfs.
"If it would have been all of the Wargwolves then you wouldnt be sitting here so peacefully. Those were just a few, of the many thousands running in this land."
He paused for a moment and said in a low, mysterious voice. "It is not only of Wargwolves of what you should fear, but something more, more dangerous and powerful than what you imagine."
He opened the Elvish book and took a peak of its words and phrases. "'Mado in Rochirrim, i dathar thia urui!'" For a moment he stared at it and then started laughing. " Do you hobbits believe this is Elvish? Elvish it is, but it is not well translated. It means "Eat the Rohirrim, the willow tree seems hot"
He smiled and threw back the book at the young hobbit lass. "You are not ready for big adventures. But you seem very happy about your big adventure with going to distant lands so I will give you two choices: Whether to go home, or to allow me to go with you, and I will take care of you when danger approaches."
He showed a glimpse of his Elvish sword and grinned.

"Um...maybe Ivy wanted to eat the Rohirrim and er.... the willow tree does seems hot.....How do we know that's what it means anyway? Ivy was brilliant at elven.” Belle trailed off sadly.

"Mind you, I have lived almost all my life with Elves and learned their language and culture. Maybe your friend knew Elvish but didnt know how to use it properly or got a bad source for learning it."
The hobbit felt important when mentioning his Elvish skills and felt the urge to go back to the Elves.

Bramblerose was shocked! Ivy, not knowing her Elvish correctly?! How could this be?!
"Before we decide to have you join out adventure, I would like to know your name. I am Bramblerose Took, and I recognize you as one too. But what is your first name?", she inquired, trying desperately to look stern.

The new hobbit made Ruby nervous and mad that he was critisizing Ivy of not knowing elvish properly. She wasn't sure wether she wanted someone accusing her of that with them.
"We don't need you to protect us! We're doing just fine and we can, if we so desire, proceed without you!" Ruby blurted out before she could stop herself. Though honestly, she wasn't sure of how far they could go without someone who knew what they were doing.

Daisy was wary of the newcomer. 'You're giving us the choice of going home or letting you go with us? What if we don't want to do either of those? What if we want to continue on our own? Who are you to stop us? And we just might not need your protection. I'm armed myself, you know.' She pulled out her dagger to show the stranger, glaring at him as she did it. 'And we are going to find elves! They still come this way, and the road is not blocked! And how do you know we aren't ready for adventure? And don't throw Ivy's book around like that!'

The hobbit took out a book from his bag. "Here." He said handing the book at one of the hobbits. "Real Elvish, from the Land of Lothlorien. Some of those pages written by the Lady of the Wood herself, if you know who she is."
"You young lasses ask many questions at the time. But their answers will take a while to come. My name is Faramir, and that is answering one question. Second, I was giving you two choices, not telling you to do one of them, so mind stop accusing me wrongly."
He looked at the hobbit who had scolded him with not letting him go with them. "I see, you are mad because I pointed out your friend didnt know Elvish correctly. She might have known the words, but not its use. If she would still be here, as I think she isnt, I would help her with that."
Now he looked at the hobbit who showed her dagger. "You are armed, but do you know how to use that dagger properly? Elves still come this way, alas! the road has been blocked recently by a boulder. Evil work they say. If you would like to see Elves, you would better go to Imaldris, or Lothlorien, which is where Im heading to."
With that he turned and prepared to leave. "Im sorry if I offended you, I hope your journey will turn out good. But dont expect to reach to any Elf city, it is hard to leave this wilderness without knowledge of it. Fare you well i-perinniath!"
He walked slowly humming a song to himself, half expecting for a reply from the hobbits.

Ruby looked around at her friends, watching Faramir walk off. She could read a few of their faces, could tell that they were thinking the same as she was.
"Wait!" Ruby yelled, and ran forward. "I'm sorry. I was wrong. I think we may need some help, and even if we don't would you like to join us?" She hoped the hobbit would forgive her.

Faramir stopped in his track and turned around to see one of the hobbit lasses asking him to join them on their adventure. He grinned. "You decided wisely. I will gladly take you to an Elven City and help you on your quests. Aren't Tooks supposed to help one another?" Faramir now instead of grinning smiled heartedly. "But first, I think we should introduce one another better." He hesitated for a while. (OOC: Is this before the War of the Ring or after? Depending on the answer I shall edit my post.
