Laerlass, along with several other elves, stepped out of the woods, and walked up to the bank of the river. 'Mae Govannen!' Laerlass called out. 'Laerlass i eneth nín.' She prepared the rope bridge, to allow them to cross.

Leodwyn had been brooding about how to get a message to the company coming from the West for days. She had spoken to eowyn about it and there was no other choice she must go herself, but she would have to take the back way down past the Paths of the Dead. The way the King had taken not so long ago. Now of course there were no dead and tormenting souls, but still the way was not an easy one. She would have to set out immediatly if she was to get there in time. She would leave tommorw

"Mae Govannen Laerlass!" Simbelmyne carefully placed one toe on the rope bridge, then, as her body remembered how to walk these, she swiftly ran across it.
"Laerlass, we must speak with the lord and lady. Gondor needs aid. The Haradrim approach. We have not enough to defend ourselves, even with the aid of Rohan. We know you have been at peace for years, but...we need warriors desperately."

Galadeth dismounted from her horse. She looked at Laerlass and said:
"I need to talk with my Ada, a War is approaching and we need warriors, Simbelmynë is saying the truth. I am sure that Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn will help us, and my Ada is going to help us too, as same as my uncles. Please, let us go in..." Galadeth said with concern in her Elven Eyes.

'You may enter, and I will lead you to the Lord and Lady.' She turned to one of the other elves behind her. 'Please go find Haldir, and tell him his daughter is here, and wishes to speak with him.' She then looked to another one, and said, 'And please find Orophin and Rúmil, and tell them Galadeth requires them as well. We will all meet in Caras Galadhon.'

Leodwyn, dressed in ranger garb set out to Lothlorien. She would get to Rohan in three days and head to Meduseld. She hoped the company would go there as well. She might be able to head them off.

Galadeth looked at Laerlass.
"Gûren le hannon, Laerlass..."
They went inside. There, Galadeth saw several Elves she knew. She gave them her Greetings, and then they went to Caras Galadhon.
((Jumping to Caras Galadhon...))
Once there, the Elves Laerlass asked to find Haldir appeared alongside Haldir, Orophin and Rúmil.
"Gûren le suilanna, Ada... we need your help..." Galadeth said.
"Mae govannen, thel nin... what happen? Mae govannen, Simbelmynë... I have heard of you..." Haldir said.

Leodwyn rode into the gates of Meduseld at dusk on the fifth day of her journey. She stabled her horse and ran to meet her cousin, Eomer. "Welcome Leodwyn! It has been too long since you have graced my halls with your presence."
'It is good to see you. I am on a journey to Lothlorien at the moment.' she said.

Simbelmyne bowed to Haldir, then turned to the Lord and Lady.
"There is trouble in Gondor. The Haradrim are approaching, and the Rohirrim and Gondorians cannot muster enough for such a battle. We hope you could give us warriors. We know you have been at peace since the War of the Ring, but..." Her voice trailed away.
"Daughter of men and elves, we cannot let the city of Kings fall. We can give you four thousand, but you understand so many of us have passed over the seas." The Lord spoke with understanding in his voice.
"But allow us to equip you whilst you are here. You shall not ride into war without arms." The Lady now spoke, her voice soft. "We will muster all strength we can, but not all we be willing. Nevertheless, the alliances will be renewed one last time."
Simbelmyne bowed.
"Hannon le. We will be gone by dawn, borne by silver wings, and the company shall follow our eagles. We will not fail you nor your warriors."

At that moment, an Elven maid came running. She asked the travelers to go with them.
"It would be of great help to have your company, mellon nin... what is your name? I am Galadeth Greenleaf, Haldiriel, and Wife of Legolas Greenleaf..."
Haldir turned to the maid.
"A War is coming, you should know that the road is dangerous, and the Enemy would not have mercy..." Haldir said.
