Alavar almost fell over laughing then pulled his own dagger and with quick darting motions demonstrated how to use it properly "Heart Lungs Throat Kidneys Eye stomach"he said tapping each in turn "these are the kill zones" he smiled "I can teach you to be warriors if you wish "

Ivy put the dagger down and folded her arms, resenting the implication that her cousin was not good enough to train them. "Daisy is going to teach me, thankyou very much! I don't know where a dragon keeps his kidneys, but I can get him in the knee every time. You may be a hero, but you're not a Took and we have our own ways to kill dragons." She glanced at Daisy and then back at the person she now regarded as rude Mr Bingle. "I have no doubt you may be very good at killing creatures with weak lungs or kidneys. I am sure that the first dragon we meet with a chronic cough will be doomed. I am convinced that you are as great a warrior as you claim, though your axe is silly and your bragging is a little wearisome. However, my cousin is Daisy Took, destroyer of evil. Don't you dare ever say anything to insult her! All I will add further is *gurth geleg an i goth gwanur nín!"
*Swift death to the enemy of my kinswoman. (She got one right!)

Belle nodded defiantly, these Tooks weren't her family but they did know their stuff. However her deep respect for Alavar stopped her from saying anything. “Well…um….I….spose we’d better…be….off….” she ended up saying while Ivy continued looking daggers at Alavar.

'He left! I thought he wanted to go. Thank you for standing up for me, Ivy. That was really brave.' Daisy admired her cousin a lot. 'Although I'm not that good, I just know a bit. What do I say to the elves when I meet them?' Daisy asked her cousin. ((Nen, your post was great It was really funny!!))

Bramlerose felt less secure without Mr. Bingle, but she knew her cousins would protect her, if her skill failed.
"Ivy, I think you scared him off!" She said, with an unusual pout on her cheery face.
As thay walked, unhappy thoughts filled her head. Thoughts of dragons and frightening lizards, and other evil things they might meet along the way. Daisy's little flute had always soothed Bramblerose when she was younger, why not now?
"Daisy, can you play your flute while we walk, I so love to her it's beautiful voice." Bramblerose questioned her sister.
And soon, Daisy's beautiful music filled the woods, and Brambleorse felt as ease once again.

Belle too began to feel nervous and scared, she shuddered at every breeze and jumped at loud noises. She realised that Mr. Bingle had been the only one of them that knew what it was like to be out in the wild and now they were alone.

Bungo noticed Belle looking a bit frightened after Mr. Bingle left the group. "Don't worry," he said. "I've taken this way to Bree many times. I don't think anything dangerous would happen anytime soon." Bungo said, but for some reason he felt a bit reserved about what he was saying, and he felt a somewhat afraid as well, though he didn't realize why.#nosmileys

Ivy was unafraid. As she walked along, she sang to the sound of the flute, "Better than just stayng home and wishing crops would ripen, Dragons sit upon their hoards and wait for us to swipe 'em. Our names will be so often praised, our toast in every flagon And all that lies 'twixt us and fame is one small, helpless dragon!
Another step, another step, I'm not afraid of danger. We all must die, but let us die With friends and kin, not strangers.
Better than just chopping wood and banging pots and kettles We're going off to glory now, and all are in fine fettle. A dragon slumbers on his hoard and dreams of gold coins dancing And does not see his swift defeat, on hobbit feet advancing.
Another step, another step, A step towards our glory. And every name will find its fame And every deed a story."

After Ivy finished singing, Daisy stopped playing her flute for a moment. 'Oh, Ivy!' she exclaimed. 'That was really good!!' She started to play again, then stopped. 'I'm hungry! Anybody want a carrot?' she asked, pulling some out of her bag.

"Oh, yes!" Bramblerose had just realized how hungry she had become, Ivy's song had made her mind drift away from the woods, and she was imagining weak dragons, and the treasure they possesed. As she took a few carrots out of Daisy's bag, she thought she heard a crunch of a twig off the trail.
"Daisy!!!! What was that?!"

Belle spun around on the spot, "it sounds like......some sort of animal.....maybe it was a balroggle or a warg-i-wolf!" Belle shuddered at the thought of being confronted by an angry evil creature. It was as thought a sudden chill had spread though the air. Something evil was there; all the hobbits could feel it.
