When Ivy ran off, Daisy stood there in shock, then sat down and started crying. She usually tried to act kinda tough and warrior-like, but she missed Ivy too much. She had tears pouring down her face, and was very sad. She realized suddenly that the quest they started on could very well turn dangerous, and they might never come back from it. She would never see Ivy again! After crying for a little while, she remembered that she was in charge of the mission, and needed to help hold everyone together. She stood up, and announced that they needed to start moving again.

Ruby nodded, and they began to leave. She went to go pick up her and Ivy's daggars. She picked them up, and put them away. As she turned, though, she spotted a small brown notebook laying at the side of the road. She went over and picked it up. She opened it, and found pages and pages of Elvish and their meanings, written in Ivy's handwriting. 'Ivy must have dropped this,' Ruby thought, flipping through the pages.
"Ruby! Come on!" One of her companions yelled back to her. They had already set off, and were fairly far ahead already.
Ruby tucked the notebook away in her pocket and ran after them.

Daisy walked in front of the others, leading them on the way. She was glad she was in the front, for nobody would see the tears as they silently ran down her face.

Belle trudged slowly behind Daisy; she could see that all the Tooks were extremely upset.
"I'm sure when we get back Ivy will be waiting for you, safe, happy and sound." She whispered reassuringly to Daisy and offering her an apple.

Bramblerose trodded on, missing Ivy dearly. She then noticed that Ruby was holding a brown notebook in her hand, and asked her what it was, and where she got it, since she had never seen Ruby carry it before.

"I found it laying on the ground right after Ivy left. It looks like a book of elvish, and their meanings." Ruby stopped, flipped through the notebook, stopped on a random page, and read the phrase from at top of it. "'Mado in Rochirrim, i dathar thia urui!' It says that means 'I greet you and wish you joy.'" Her companions began to crowd around Ruby and the notebook. "Now we will be able to learn elvish!"

"Wow! I'm really glad you found that, Ruby!", Bramblerose exclaimed, peeking at the notebook over Daisy's shoulder.

Daisy accepted the apple Belle offered, and thanked her for it. She heard the others talking about a notebook they found, and she walked over to them to see it. 'Oh, great! We have some elven words!! We should all learn them, that way we can all talk to the elves! Ruby, could you help us learn them please?'

((This will be a rather long post, but I'll try to make it worth it!)) After they looked at the notebook for a few minutes, Daisy said they needed to move on. They walked on for a while before stopping for the night. It took them a little while to get a fire going, but after several of them tried, they finally got it. They ate some apples and carrots, then all sat around for a while talking. Everyone seemed down; the departure of Ivy had left them disheartened. Daisy missed her cousin terribly, but knew something had to be done to lift the spirits of her companions. 'I have an idea!' she announced to everyone as they sat around the fire. 'Mr. Bilbo told me many stories of his adventure, so I thought I would share one with all of you. This is my favourite of all his stories! You all know how Gandalf came, and brought 12 dwarves with him. They wanted to take revenge on the great dragon Spaug, who had stolen their treasure. Most other hobbits don't like adventure, but Mr. Bilbo was like us. He loved it, and couldn't wait to go! He was excited when he found out the dwarves wanted him to go, and they set out early the next morning. First the went to see the elves, so Mr. Bilbo could learn to speak Elven. Then they went through a huge forest. There they met three great big trolls! The trolls tied them all up, then were going to cook them! They argued for a long time, then suddenly, great big spiders came out of the trees! They fought the trolls until the sun came up, when the trolls turned to stone. Then the spiders carried off Mr. Bilbo and the dwarves. Mr. Bilbo escaped, and found a sword one of the trolls had left behind. He went and fought all the spiders off, and rescued all the dwarves by himself! He was very brave, and the dwarves were all grateful, for they owed him their lives. 'I love that story, because it shows how brave Mr. Bilbo was!! I hope I can be as brave next time we run into something!' Daisy sat down beside the others, hoping she had encouraged them all to be brave in the face of danger. 'Maybe tomorrow I can tell you about how he fought the great Spaug!' she told them all.

"Wow I'd like that!" piped up Belle cheerfully. She sat beside the fire keeping toasty warm when something caught her sharp eyes. "Well I know something that will defiantly get you're spirits soaring even if Daisy's story didn’t'! MUSHROOMS!" Belle screamed and ran toward the small clump of them she had just spotted. Soon everyone was gorging on the particularly tasty mushrooms and arguing over seconds and in some cases fifths!

((LOL!!! That was an intersting retelling...))
Bramblerose, gorged herself on the mushrooms, thinking about the story Daisy had just told. She admired Mr. Bilbo's bravery, and she hoped, in the face of danger, she would posses the same courage.

Out from the shadows a figured walked toward the hobbits who were busy with the mushrooms. The figured stopped at a fair distance between them.
"Suilad, i-periannath." said the figure. "Where might you, hobbits, be heading to? It is not safe to wander without guide and without knowing in this lands."

Ruby was sitting off to the side, examining Ivy's elvish book when someone approached them.
"We are going on an adventure, to see elves and dragons! Would you like to join us?"

"And cities bigger than Bree! We've visited Bree you know," said Belle gesturing at her fellow companions proudly.
